Could be looking at the beginning of the end for the Phoenix Suns. If the vote fails & I don't see how it passes at this point... I can see Sarver attempting to move to San Diego.
Go Suns!

It's starting to look like a legitimate fear.

Question: would you trade the history and legacy that is our organization by getting a new team and franchise here if it meant no more Sarver and competent ownership if he took the team eslewhere?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I don't think Sarver would take the team from his backyard and move them to a state that already has the kings, clippers, lakers, and warriors. No chance IMO.

Would this new franchise again be called the Phoenix Suns?

Then yes. If you could go to the future and tell me we’d be without the Suns for 2-3 years until a new owner brings a new version to town, I’d be all for it. Fuck Sarver and his clowns. But I’m sure Seattle thought it wouldn’t be long before they got a new Sonics organization like the Bobcats/Hornets and look how long it’s been and they’re still waiting.

Well, as desperate as I think Seattle is for their Sonics to come back, I don't think there's any way they would pay the ransom I'm sure Sarver would be asking for. They didn't let the OKC owners do it to them, and Sarver isn't on their level. I just don't think Seattle goes for it.

Vegas, on the other hand, might. They've had some success with the Aces, and an NBA team would easily fit into T-Mobile arena and probably help reinvigorate UNLV athletics.

Either way, Sarver is a jerk.

I don't know if there's anyone I dislike more than Robert Sarver.

Be cool if we could just lock Sarver in a room with Trump and they could 69 each other to death.

How would you determine who replaces a good owner? Seems like it would penalize guys like Steve Balmer and Mark Cuban who basically really want their teams to succeed at all costs.

We could vote on it every 4 years like the All-Star game and let the fans decide!
