I’m sure lots of teams are calling. Im hoping this is controlled chaos; like James Jones caused this stir to create a frenzy of offers to manipulate in the middle.
Anybody who posts “I hope that, behind the scenes, Sarver and Jones are doing something sensible” is going to be disappointed.
Some team with limited cap flexibility but not in tax hell that needs a wing/guard scorer who is said to be able to defend as well (but is doing neither).

austin rivers is the wrong guy to target. It should be Lin or Dragic, but James Jones probably not into that. Everybody knows lonzo has no future with the lakers, and that josh hart is the future starting PG for lebron.

Sure, we would have traded Ariza for those players, but why would they be interested in those deals?

Being gone for a while, then coming back to read this thread already knowing what happened was... interesting.

I have watched all the games and have been on Twitter, but not near a computer for a while.

I am like 1000 posts behind, so I am sure it has all been said.

+ So glad Rivers is not a part of this team
+ Last time we had a 4 game win streak, I was in my 30s.
+ Wow our effort (and results) on defense have been night and day
+ Book looks healthy--let's hope his 3FG% climbs back above 33%
+ I doubt Oubre can keep it up, but let's hope he does
+ Did I mention how happy I am that Rivers will not play a game for us?

Also, thought it was interesting to hear the Celts owner say that he also had one of the 3 teams try the bait/switch or mix up players before--for once I think we didn't screw up that part.

Based on the "replies" column on the main thread list, it probably was over 1200. I have a problem.

I think we made out like bandits because of the failed trade. Wizards went from getting a couple of second rounders for the same package to having no extra picks. Memphis could've had Oubre instead of Dillon Brooks, maybe they like Brooks because he's under team control for another couple of years, but I still think Oubre is the better player.

I love our set of nice athletic wings. But can we please hire David West to come and do with Josh and Kelly what he did with TJ?

I am willing to bet it was a lot more of what TJ did than what West did. You have to want it, and put in the time.

This. Also it wasn't David West that did the shooting part. It was his nephew, Trevor West. He is TJ Warren's personal trainer.

Now if we could just get Dennis Rodman to come in and teach him how to defend and rebound as an undersized PF, then we would be set at the 4. :P
