I kind of figured this would happen so I spent the morning watching Oubre highlights. I am not exactly thrilled about it and it has nothing to do with Oubre not being a good player. He's more athletic than TJ and he's more consistent than Josh. It's just that he'll be an RFA this Summer and we'll have to pay him or let him go. In which case we got nothing. I don't think he can be traded again this season but that depends on when the deadline is and how long before you can trade a player.

Ugh, I hope we're at least getting a pick or two out of the deal. What a mess. I just can't believe this is what we settle for.

It's sad, but I sincerely think most of the regular posters on this message board could better run the franchise.

I think most Suns fans overrate Ariza’s value

agree 100% that it felt inevitable
I not a fan of Rivers and like you explained, Oubre is decent but he probably can't be a benefit to us long term

this was the consensus last night, that offers coming in were rather weak
oh well another "not good" moment for us

I like Oubre, but we already have enough small forwards. In addition to that, is Austin Rivers really a PG? We could have held out for better assets that fit our team.

This team makes me want to puke.

No, and if you look at RIvers stats what you'll see is a stat line eerily similar to Jamal Crawford - who is a much better locker room guy.

Rivers and Oubre should free up Jackson to be more of a roamer on offense, less of him trying to break his man down and throw up some junk at the backboard, Rivers'll do that now, while Oubre stands in the corner.
👀 Fire Frank Vogel.

Ariza was gone after this year, so are Rivers and Oubre. We get more cap space this summer.

I’m excited not to have to watch Ariza jog up and down the court anymore.

This doesn't effect our space at all.

Not sure what you expected to get for an old rental player though.

Rivers and Oubre fill absolutely zero needs so this was exactly the trade I expected.

I can't believe that we are still without a competent PG after trading Ariza's ass.
