Brooklyn is doing a nice job bringing in low profile prospects and developing/trying them out. They have Theo Pinson who so far is just what I imagined: point forward potential, 2-way ability. I really would like to see the Suns try him out; if he could deliver on his potential, he could offer tremendous lineup flexibility.

Totally agree

The Pelicans should make a deal with Boston if they are going to make a deal. Boston has the assets. Pelicans need to do what is best for the team. Get at least two young players and three picks.
I don't think they have quite the assets that they thought they would have. Those picks look like they might all be in the second half of the 1st round in a weaker draft, and they can't even trade for AD until July 1st, which is obviously after the draft.

The advantage Boston has is that most other teams have even worse assets to offer. Boston does have a lot of picks, and they also have some B+ level young players like Jaylen Brown who they can trade.

Right now they’d get picks 13,14, 21, and 23...but you’re right they won’t be able to trade those picks for AD until after they make the selections. That drops the value of them in any AD trade. Might see them trade some of those picks for additional future picks... or maybe they just strike an under the table deal and NO really makes all those picks.

Noah Vonleh is an intriguing, low-cost free agent option this summer.

Nurkic had a 24-23-7-5-5 line tonight. That’s the first recorded 20-20 and 5x5 in history.

Nurkic isn’t exactly the first guy I’d expect to pull that kind of line off...crazy.

I wanted him this past offseason. I've always liked him, but I am becoming more interested in his teammate, Luke Kornet.

Yup. He's looked good, too. Nice looking stroke.

Maybe, but not for us. We already have two fine centers.

I view him as a 4. It's not the worst thing to have a traditional 4 on the roster. He can also step out and hit the 3 (40% on 2 attempts/game).

He provides a lot of what people have been pining for at PF next to Ayton. Not at an elite level or anything, but he's capable.

He's a backup 4/5. The question is whether he's finally "gotten it" or if he's just playing for a contract. Also, the Knicks are bad so his numbers might be a bit inflated. I wouldn't be against signing him for right price as Holmes is strictly a 5. We need some more size upfront in case we (god forbid) lose Ayton or Holmes for a stretch of time.

I actually find the Lakers to be one of the league's more boring teams. Lebron makes them good/relevant, but they aren't ready to contend for a title yet; too young, not enough shooting, etc. They'll go to the playoffs, maybe win a round. I don't find many of their players fun to watch, other than maybe Lonzo, but he seems to have faded into the background a bit. In 1-2 years I think the Lakers will be more interesting to me than they are now.
