I really like Kuzma. He's a stud.
He had an MRI on his back today.

I just saw the first returns from All-Star voting and can I just say how much I hate the fan part of the vote? Derrick Rose with the 3rd most votes in the West? Dwayne Wade another top vote getter in the East? Doncic in 4th in the West? I know it's just the first returns, but to me it's just marketing hype and name recognition. These totals should look totally different to anyone who actually cares to watch the games.

Almost no fans vote for who they think is the best player. Luckily fan voting is only half the selection process now. No chance Luka or Rose end up as starters

I thought the fans voted in the starters?

The fans count for 50% of the vote. They also take 25% from both media votes and players votes

So what is the All-Star game? Fan favorites? Electing the best players? Rewarding players having the best years?

Until they specifically say what it is, how is any vote right or wrong?

I wish it was just about the best players, but it’s some weird mix of best players/most popular players

Is there any interest in Cameron Payne? The Bulls are going to waive him. I don't think he's better than what we have & he's had a down shooting year.

He looked better last year.

I'd have a hard time hoping he would get minutes over Melton and Okobo.

I would love to get Chris Boucher from Toronto and Yante Maten from Miami. Two good candidates to give quality minutes as stretch 4s.

I'm surprised you didn't mention your boy Cheick Diallo. Not a stretch 4, but someone I'd offer Troy Daniels for. He can't get off New Orleans' bench.

Danuel House is playing nice minutes for the Rockets. I like his game.

James Harden is Neo in the last scene of The Matrix. He's solved offense.

(Also, what an embarrassing missed call by the refs prior to that)

A lot of ex-Suns playing for the Rockets. House, Tucker, Green, Knight, and Rivers (I kid).

That missed call was so ridiculous. Did he think the court was reversed or something?

Bill Simmons offered up an interesting trade. Simmons for AD. Who says no? NO gets another star with like 5-6 years of team control and Philly gets one of the 6 tier 1 stars in the nba. Reddick/Butler/AD/Embiid would be scary.

Why would the Pelicans do that? Where would Simmons fit with Holiday/Payton? Plus they'd only have Randle/Mirotic up front.

Also don't like the Embiid/AD combo.

Because they are going to lose AD and getting a 22 year old star with 6 years of team control is better than a bunch of draft picks.

Holiday and Simmons would form an incredible backcourt. Payton becomes the backup PG. Of course you’d need a defensive minded C, but making this trade buys you time. You don’t have to get that guy right away.

What don’t you like about the Embiid/AD combo? They’d kill everyone at the rim. Who could come close to defending them and keeping them off the glass? Could you imagine us trying to defend them? Butler gets Ayton to switch into him and then you’ve got Embiid and AD with Warren and Bridges on them. Or take Boston... Butler gets horford switched into him and Marcus Morris and jayson Tatum are supposed to defend/keep Embiid and AD off the glass?

Looks like Butler is clashing with the 76ers head coach Brown. Apparently he was very heated and confrontational with him during a recent team film session.

Butler has been vocal in his contesting of Brown and his system, including a recent film session in Portland that some witnesses considered “disrespectful” and beyond normal player-coach discourse.

Butler has expressed a desire to teammates that he hopes to play in more traditional pick-and-roll and isolation sets, rather than trying to find his place in the Sixers free-flowing offense, league sources said.
