I would love to get Chris Boucher from Toronto and Yante Maten from Miami. Two good candidates to give quality minutes as stretch 4s.
I'm surprised you didn't mention your boy Cheick Diallo. Not a stretch 4, but someone I'd offer Troy Daniels for. He can't get off New Orleans' bench.
I still like Diallo, but if the Suns are committed to Holmes I'm not sure there would be an opportunity for him. He is a tremendous rebounder though.

Looks like Butler is clashing with the 76ers head coach Brown. Apparently he was very heated and confrontational with him during a recent team film session.

Butler has been vocal in his contesting of Brown and his system, including a recent film session in Portland that some witnesses considered “disrespectful” and beyond normal player-coach discourse.

Butler has expressed a desire to teammates that he hopes to play in more traditional pick-and-roll and isolation sets, rather than trying to find his place in the Sixers free-flowing offense, league sources said.
Shocker.

Dirk needed 1 point tonight to catch Kobe for most points for a western conference player at Boston. He tried, took 10 shots, 0-10, including 0-8 from 3, but finished with 0 points. He might need to retire mid season, he is beyond done.

His per minute numbers are better than his rookie season, and he wasn’t done then. He could still have another 20 years ahead of him.

Not anymore - now he's shooting 32% for the season.

Dirk looked pretty done last year - now he's just embarrassing himself.

Eh, what the hell. If he’s having fun, he’s earned it. I for one don’t think any less of him for trying to play as long as he can and wants.

You might feel differently in another 5 years.

For all the many deep problems on this team, at least we don't have any guys with toxic cancerous attitudes. At least I feel like I can root for every guy on this team to do well without hating their personality.

Kings went toe to toe with the Warriors all the way to the end but unfortunately came up on the short end of the stick. The game set an NBA record for combined 3s in a game. 41 between the two teams with 21 coming from GSW and 20 from the Kings. If anybody thinks the Kings are going to be a pushover for us next week, think again.

I don’t think anybody said pushover. Nobody’s a pushover for us. Just that our chances are much better against them than against the teams we’ve played on this home stand so far.

MCW traded from the Rockets to the Bulls then waived.

Also, this Patrick McCaw thing has been weird. Cavaliers signed him to a contract that the Warriors wouldn't match then immediately waived him. I guess they plan to resign him to a more team friendly deal? How does that even work?

I read that a few people were saying that the Bulls were doing McCaw and his agent a favor, since the contract was not guaranteed. He basically just wanted to be a free agent.

Thibs fired; possible replacement for Kokoskov? :-)

j/k, but wow that guy has worn out his welcome. The Wolves are a big disappointment this year.

He needs to learn to be a little more vocal. Sometimes I struggle to hear him over the announcers.

Not that I’m a fan of him BUT Austin Rivers is averaging over 13ppg, over 50% shooting, including 41% on 3s shooting at least 6 of them per game. Couldn’t we have used Ariza to nab us a guard who does that?

Rivers will come back down to earth. He always does. Plus it's different when you go to a vet team like that with the PG whisperer D'Antoni versus coming... here.
