Game Day: Suns (8-26) @ Magic (14-18), Wed 12/26/18

Post by bajanguy008 »

Time: 5:00 pm AZ (4:00 pm PT/7:00 pm ET)
Place: Amway Center, Orlando, FL
TV: FSAZ/NBALP

Our guys are back in action tonight looking to end our 4 game East Coast trip on a good note. Vucevic is a very skilled center in my opinion and I look forward to Ayton going against him.

Go Suns !!!

Let's see what Melton's minutes look like and the Point Book minutes or if Okobo will get decent run

Booker's career high against the Magic is 14 over the course of 5 games. I'd say the chances are very high of eclipsing that. I'd rather have the W, though.

Thanks for making the Game Day thread! I'm still on vacation without my League Pass (and doing family stuff) so I'll be "watching" this one via box score updates and reading y'all's posts. Go Suns!

Not a pretty 1st qtr, down 32-26 but TJ just ended the quarter with a beautiful step thru on a double team to nail a 3.

TJ with a fairly ridiculous 3pt to end the quarter
Feels like we are giving up 32/34 pts in the 1st quarter kinda often now tho

Okobo - Josh - Oubre - Richaun all have scored in the quarter
Josh pacing himself well and racking up the assists

JJ with a nice stretch of basketball hitting open teammates, leading the break, running PnR. He's steadily improving and coming on like he did in the 2nd half of last year.

Okobo getting minutes at point and not sucking. He got caught leaving his feet along the baseline which forced a bad TO and he's getting worked a bit defensively but he at least looks the part.

only a couple minutes of Point Book as Igor brought back Melton for the last 3mins
we just hang 36 on them in that quarter and only gave up 21

I think I like this rotation better than the one that includes Crawford. Oubre off the bench makes Jamal less of a necessity.

Coughed up that 12-point lead pretty quick. 65-61 Suns.

The refs are putting Melton through the ringer right now. Unbelievable.

Melton struggling a little against Augustin who can be crafty at times
definitely sloppy stuff from the starters tho and Ayton not really involved

Augustin having his way while the Magic D kicks into hyperdrive. Suns can't get into any offensive flow.
