It's really great to see Booker buying into playing defense. He fought through several screens in this game, keeping his man in front of him, and preventing a team breakdown on D. Looks like the coaching staff is really holding him accountable for his defensive lapses.

It's still off and on. I would like to see him be engaged throughout the game and consistently each game.Xylus wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 6:25 amIt's really great to see Booker buying into playing defense. A lot better than off and IDGAF like we have seen the last 3 years.In2ition wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 9:09 amIt's still off and on. I agree, but it was disappointing to see his defense as IDGAF against the Wizards and Nets at the beginning of the game. I would point to that as one of the main reasons the Suns lost those games. If he just keeps his man from going back door or box out on a rebound to not let his man get to the rim for a follow up dunk, they win in regulation and maybe he keeps Rudions Kurucs from doing the same the next night and the Suns finish the road trip on a 7 game win streak.Indy wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 9:11 amA lot better than off and IDGAF like we have seen the last 3 years.In2ition wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 9:09 amIt's still off and on. I don't disagree. I am just such an optimist that I want to focus on the good.

That could easily blow up in the Suns' faces. Getting the secondary players from championship teams after the championship team has run its course is almost always fool's gold. Draymond in Phoenix would be a repeat of Pippen with Portland. Green would do a few nice things, but $30 million a year the Suns would have to fork over would be brutal, he'd probably lose a step defensively, and already is losing his shot.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

Yeah. I know. Skills-wise he fills in a lot of gaps for us, so it's tempting.INFORMER wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 11:01 pmThat could easily blow up in the Suns' faces. Ya, I would stay away from Draymond. He’s been a fantastic defensive player, but he’s just an ok offensive player that looked better playing with 2 of the 5 best shooters of all time and another mvp/top 10 player all time. His offensive game has taken a hit the last couple years as he can’t shoot anymore. And his play making would be hindered by not having elite shooting everywhere.
