It's amazing that Brooklyn could make the playoffs this year. Kenny Atkinson and Sean Marks are doing work.

I think both things are true but yeah the imbalance is still pretty crazy. One of the Denver announcers last night commented on the fact that there are no easy games at all in the Western conference. You think you're getting to play the last place Suns so you might get to take the night off but they are no longer the doormat everyone is expecting because they have a lot of young guys that get after it for 48.

The Inside the NBA panel was talking about this. Smith was talking about the Nets when he said if a team plays very hard for 48 minutes, they can win half their games even without real talent.

The Nets are also playing this well without (arguably) their best player Caris LeVert, who was having a breakout season.

And with 33 year old Jared Dudley playing the 5th most minutes of anyone on the team.

Good for Dudley. Giving them some nice veteran leadership backed up by actual minutes played on the court.

Wait...he’s only 33? You mean he could play another 5 years?

They were not biased, which was nice to hear after having to listen to the Boston announcers lately. But they also were not very knowledgeable about the team. I got the impression they only watched the Nuggets game and then the 10 minute recap of the Suns previous game to prep. Kept saying things about Ayton and TJ that just weren't true. They might have been true the game before, but not regularly with those guys. I just kept rolling my eyes and laughing.
