Not a good shot by Jackson, but he hit it! Another steal and fast break bucket gives us the lead back! 1:10 to go

OUBRE!
Once upon a time, in what seems an epoch ago, the Phoenix Suns were a respectable NBA franchise ...

What a performance by Oubre tonight. Great games by Melton, Holmes, and Daniels as well.

That follow jam by Oubre was just sensational. Play of the season so far.

10/8/4/4/2 line for Melton. Team high +18
26/5/4/3/1 line for Oubre
13/5/4/3 for Jackson
4 steals for Bridges
2 steals and 3 blocks for Holmes
18 steals for the team.

I checked the score around the third quarter and decided to watch Netflix instead. Just checked again and we won?! Sweet.

Wow!

I know I never post, but what little I saw of this game is what keeps me so optimistic of this team.
Once they adhere to that defense consistently, the sky is the limit.
The thing I think I loved the most was the synergy they seemed to have.

If they all could keep that level consistently, Booker becomes extremely superfluous

Accomplished without Booker ... great balance in scoring.

Melton’s best game of the season, I think. He was in total control in the 2nd half.

I love the amorphousness of our team, ESPECIALLY our forwards. We could legitimately have a lineup of Ayton and 4 small forwards if we wanted to be crazy.

WCS’s 15/7/3/3/3/.545 has been matched four times in NBA history: Anthony Davis (2x), Jusuf Nurkic, and, um... Kyle Anderson.

Fun with filters.

But I bet he’s the only one to miss two free throws in the final 10 seconds of the game

That was an awesome 3rd quarter. Just when I was about ready to write them off.

Yup.

Actually, in one of the games, AD missed a potentially tying free throw with 31 seconds to play and the Pels lost by 3. So, so close to matching WCS.
