Warren actually making some nice passes early on. Drove and dished to Jackson in the corner, jackson missed, and just found bridges in the corner for a 3.

This active hands thing we've got going on now is great. We generally look like ass, but at least we force some turnovers now. Huzzah!

I love the length and speed of Jackson, Oubre and Bridges. They fly around the court, are rangy and really disrupt things. Bridges is driving a bit early in the game which I like to see. I think he can do more offensively but has been getting lost a bit. Can't get over his wingspan. I'm curious to see him play some 4 down the line when he adds some weight/fills out.

It's also a luxury to bring Oubre in off the bench. We have a lot of SFs but they're young and exciting to watch.

Ya it’s been nice. We are starting to find an identity on defense. We may not exactly be a good offensive or defensive team, but we at least do something well defensively.

That was a pretty bad foul call on Bridges...

One of the best 1st quarters I’ve seen us play in some time.

Nice start so far. I wish Josh Jackson would look to pass a bit more rather than this current 2-7 shooting, but otherwise happy to see them doing well. They are showing good energy and competitiveness. I liked how the guys came over and congratulated Holmes after he got an and-one. I just want to see them play hard as a team and encourage each other like that.

Question: It is often stated that this team needs a PG and a PF. I think it's quite obviously true that we need a PG. Do we need a PF? If we had a good PG, could we just run Booker at SG and then a platoon of our many SFs at the 3-4 spots and make do? We have so much talent at the 3 that I wonder whether we could just do that rather than look for a more "traditional" PF.

Ayton just hauled ass down the court, took a nice pass from Okobo on the fast break, spun around his defender and slammed it down with 1 hand.

Oh my god, is there anything greater than an Oubre follow slam?

After that Jackson play, I'd say things are going our way this half.

Well we’re surviving right now without a true 4...some teams could take advantage. If Ayton becomes a better defender and can lock down the paint it might be doable.

He is really fun to watch. I haven't tuned in to many Nugs games in the past 1-2 years, but every time I do, he's a treat. Can see why their fans are so excited about him.
