And then Holmes is the first Sun to finally make both FTs.

I am about ready to throw my remote through the TV. Holmes gets obviously pushed out of bounds with the rebound by Sabonis and no call. Pacers ball. Refs DEFINITELY have money on the game.

Wow. In spite of all that, the Suns get it down to single digits with 5 mins left in the 2nd quarter.

We're not as bad as we played against Indy and not as good as when we beat the Nuggets or were on that 4 game winning streak. We're still a young team that's not very good. Working Booker in was a struggle as well and I felt like Jackson, as much criticism as he gets, was key to our play while Booker was out. He only saw 20 minutes last night in the blowout but he adds something while he's on the court. He brings that bounce and energy, a little swag with the ball, some chippiness on defense and almost instinctively looks for Ayton down low. He might be the best passer we have.

Booker I was definitely disappointed with because I wanted to see more energy. I get it was his first game back but he still plays like he's too-cool-for-school, which isn't how the guys were playing while he was out. He kind of slowed things down, went back to walking the ball himself instead of quick offense...I just wish he'd stay off the ball, play off of others while still being the main go-to on offense.

Exactly why the Suns need a legit distributor to push the pace. The bald face truth is that, of the Suns top 8-10 players, Booker is one of the least athletic. Maybe he needs to get in better court shape.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

It's funny because watching him out there with the headband I was like "damn he kinda looks like Jared Dudley".

Can we hit the "Simulate rest of season" button yet?

How ever he looked, he played like he didn't care.

Yeah wasn't the Booker I was used to seeing. He was playing at about 75% effort. The team followed suit.

Missed the game...we’re players deferring too much to booker on offense. Seems like the defensive intensity dropped, either that or Indy just took better care of the ball than denver

We looked a lot better when Booker was not on the floor. Actually, most of our starters looked disinterested. Maybe Mikal was the only one that seemed really into the game.

I wouldn't say guys were deferring to Book but he's just a different player to play with. He's a dominant offensive player so he wants the ball in his hands to slow the game down and look for his offense. Before, guys like Jackson, Oubre, Bridges, TJ were just flipping the ball around and moving, penetrating, kicking out...it was more fluid. Last night the offense stalled a bit with him, especially as a ballhandler. We should run some offense like the Ws run for Klay just to get some ball movement. Otherwise, you're watching Booker try to imitate Harden and it's ugly.

Frankly, it’s ugly when Harden does it, even if it is effective.

Very true. Never seen such a dominant offensive player be so unbearable to watch. Bleh.
👀 Fire Frank Vogel.
