I don't know. It feels like it is already too late. I'm not against it, but I'm not sure what it will accomplish. It may not hurt for Ayton to be out another game so we get to see Bender again in a situation where Kokoskov has to play him.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

This was another game where they lost it down the stretch because they don't have a decent point guard.
We missed a ton of FTs. Gave them more FTs on technicals. A PG isn’t why we lost this game although we could have blown them out with a decent one.
Also, if Bender just makes one of the many open threes he took, we win the game.
Or if Bender doesn't tip that offensive rebound back to Crawford......

He played well. Do doubt.

I'm not claiming any moral victories, because I don't see any improvement -

It was slightly facetious. Sorry, sarcasm doesn't translate well online.

Tough loss after they battled hard. I'm glad for Bender that he got to show something. I still think he'll be a useful player somewhere - yes in the NBA!

Dragan Bender is an NBA power forward, and we have failed him. Give the guy even halfway regular minutes and he produces and grows. But we decided he was worthless, and so he has become worthless.

Josh Jackson also had a good game.

You are clearly dreaming Marty, Bender would not play even on a mediocre Euroleague team. He is that bad.

Bender did alright. When I saw tha Ayton and Holmes were out and he was starting I thought they would crush us. He defended pretty well and didn’t foul out. His 3pt shooting was not there to say the least. The Suns just kind of came apart at the end and Rose can still play.

Overall I was pretty surprised they were even in the game and they led for a lot of it.

Agreed. He still has a long way to go. He may progress quicker when another team gives him a shot but PHX is not a spot where a guy like him can thrive.

I don't understand why we couldn't have given more time to both Melton and Okobo.
Yeah, I really don't get it. There can't be a mandate from Jones to play Crawford, right? I have a hard time believing that Igor is watching the same games we are, and decides to play him.

Melton and Okobo were positive in +/- last night in very limited minutes. JC was a -11 in his 3 minutes to start the 4th. oof.
