That would sure make it easier, but you have to start with zero. Them’s the rules.

I was talking about the wolves. Don't we usually start by spotting the other team 25 points?

That's interesting. I thought Holmes with the sprained foot would require more time to return than Ayton, but it sounds like Holmes is closer to returning.

Bender is shooting 9% from 3 this year....he is shooting 69% from 2, so there’s that. I get small sample size and lack of playing time, but he still does shoot around and practice, what has happened to his shot?

Shooting in practice and shooting in the games are totally different. He just needs time and reps on the court. It's such a small sample size it's not even worth noting how bad it is, other than contrast it when he does get time and re-familiar with playing again. I really wish he would have improved his arc on his shot though. It doesn't seem to have been fixed in his time out of the rotation or off-season.

It may take more than one or two nights to become consistent. He's kind of created the problem himself though, so he has to take advantage of every minute he has. If he just plays smart and aggressive to take advantage of the time he has, I could see him regaining trust back. He really needs to do that, since it's painfully obvious that Booker doesn't have a lot of trust in him along the 3 pt line.

I want to see every player on the Suns succeed, but it would feel especially good to see Bender play well again tonight.

I’ve been a pretty big Bender detractor, but I’d love to see him succeed
