When Crawford plays 21 minutes and doesn't shoot a single shot I have to wonder why he's even out there at all.
Acy had 10 boards and no points ... also did not shoot.

Anderson had a DNP, even thought Suns were shorthanded. The guy can at least rebound...
Denver played 11 guys, while Suns played only 9.

So Oubre gets pushed over on a fast break and is called for a foul. Nuggets blatantly goal tend bookers layup and full view of the refs and nothing. It seems there is a reason they have such a good home record.
If this was a kids game an angry dad would have stormed on the court and chewed out the refs. We got problems but when the officials in the top league in the world consistently f*** us over it doesn’t help. I dreamt once the suns collectively walked off the court after a string of shirty calls. They would lose the game anyway because they are the suns but it would be an interesting way to highlight and protest s*** refereeing.
Couple guys on one of the radio talk shows have a bet on how/when/if Coach K ever picks up a technical foul protesting a call.

He had some beautiful turnovers though. I'm done with him.

He will be fired long before that and deservedly so. The refs are just making a mockery of this team. (Even more so than they do on their own)

Every time I think this franchise has bottomed out in every possible category they add a new wrinkle.

Pretty ugly 4th quarter. Curious why we don’t bring a guy like George King up with all our injuries. He’s a bigger body than our other wings and a decent rebounder. At least be nice to see him play some garbage time.
The franchise got their renovation deal so They are just going through the motions at this point. Most of rhe staff will be turned over at season's end and they'll draft in the top 5, whiff on the FA market the team as a playoff team just as they did before and the cycle continues.

The Suns are now 3-16 since their 4-game winning streak.

Long showers? After emotionally challenging week, Suns hold closed-door ‘talk’ following blowout loss at Denver

By Gina Mizell
DENVER — Devin Booker plead ignorance and then spoke in code, insisting the Suns’ postgame locker room was closed for 52 minutes because he was taking a long shower.

Never mind that the locker room typically opens while some players are still cleaning up after a game. A few minutes later, though, veteran Jamal Crawford acknowledged the obvious — that the Suns held a closed-door meeting following their worst loss of a disastrous season.

“We’re just gonna keep everything in-house,” Crawford said after the Nuggets thrashed Phoenix 132-95 Friday night at the Pepsi Center. “We just had a nice talk.”

The outcome was the largest margin of defeat in an 11-40 season filled with blowouts.

Well hopefully the 25 lbs would help...right now he’s super skinny and gets pushed out of the way too easily. If he puts on some weight he may be able to hold Giannis position a bit better. There is rarely a taller player with a higher reach on the court with him.

He just had back-to-back 10 rebound games.

We’re still talking about Bender, right? Because he’s grabbed less than 10 rebounds in the last two games combined. Mikal outrebounded him last night.

Putting on weight isn't going to increase his desire and reduce his timidity. This guy doesn't even jump for jump balls. It is quite ridiculous.

And? He should have had 15 rebounds in those games. The ones he got just fell in his lap for the most part.

I don't think it's fair to dismiss his double-digit rebound games by saying that the rebounds "fell" to him. Lots of guys are out there on the court and don't get anywhere close to 10 rebounds. It's still an impressive stat, especially for a guy a lot of people say has no talent. If he can get 10 rebounds back to back that easily, he has some rebounding skill.

And averaging 4 rebounds the next two games shows that that rebounding skill is very limited.

It's a good thing Jokic was suspended. Imagine how bad the loss could have been. At least we kept it respectable.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
