Harden really isn’t the kind of guy we should struggle against. He’s an isolation scorer and we have a lot of wing defenders to throw at him. Even if he gets a switch, our bigs do a pretty decent job on switches. We get killed by off ball movement guys like Jamal Murray and pick n roll ball handlers and roll men. I’m not saying we’ll shut harden down, but I don’t think he’ll go for more than his average...and I wouldn’t be surprised if we held him under 30
I have a feeling that this post will get quoted after the game is over.
Quote away. He could very well score a lot as we’re obviously not a good defensive team. Just pointing out that our biggest defensive weaknesses don’t line up with his style of play. I’d expect a guy like Curry/Klay or AD to score more points than Harden against us.

I love the long article on AZCentral.com trying to explain why Rivers didn't come to the Suns after the trade.

How about this - He was a throw-in to make it work under the cap, the Suns never really wanted him, and he's not really very good.

Hmmm. That didn't really take long to sum up.

As bad as it is to write, we're not tanking and taking Ls for a high draft pick. We have talent and are playing hard, we're just not good.

So that's something.

Rivers is always making that "I'm always trying to look cool" face. Always.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Jackson took a charge for Harden's 3rd foul in the first couple minutes, and they call a blocking foul. Ugh.

Oubre refuses the easy dump-off to Ayton for a dunk.

Mikal needs to stop passing to Josh in the corner.

Might have been the worst stretch of basketball of all time from him.

Ayton and Jackson are looking good early on

God that drive and dunk by JJ was vicious. Unbelievable athleticism.

This has been an awesome game so far. Probably the best crowd we’ve had all year.

So Harden fouls Booker, but they call it on Green, who wasn't even in the area, of course.

What other explanation is there for this than the refs intentionally trying to keep Harden in the game? Baffling.
