30 is the number. Suns lose by 30. Harden will have 30 at half

It's more like getting on a bull at the Houston Rodeo these days.

True. Can we hang on for even a quarter?

If we cannot beat the lowly Hawks, I don't see why this one will be even close.

Well, we lost to the Bulls and the Knicks and the Hawks, but we have beat the Bucks and Nuggets and Celtics. You might get lucky.

On 33 for 87 FG attempts.

Rockets win, 155-127.

Booker goes for 51, but Houston doesn't care because they lead by at least 20 for most of the game and Harden hits for 72.

I don't think Harden will have to play long enough to score 70 points. He'll probably be resting by the time he gets to 40.

Harden is definitely scoring 90+ tonight. Watch out, Wilt!

Harden really isn’t the kind of guy we should struggle against. He’s an isolation scorer and we have a lot of wing defenders to throw at him. Even if he gets a switch, our bigs do a pretty decent job on switches. We get killed by off ball movement guys like Jamal Murray and pick n roll ball handlers and roll men. I’m not saying we’ll shut harden down, but I don’t think he’ll go for more than his average...and I wouldn’t be surprised if we held him under 30

He is a pretty efficient player, even though he is scoring like a mad-man. There are only 12 guys in the league averaging 25 pts/game. Of those, Harden is right in the middle of eFG with 54.2%.

If you use TS%, the only 2 guys better than him are Curry and Giannis.

If you take guys only scoring over 30, he is #1. :)

With the way this team fouls, I'd be surprised if we hold him under 30fta.

And we are the team that's going to hold him under 30? Um yeah, I don't think so.

The only way we're holding him under 30 is if there's no reason to play him after halftime....catch my drift?

I have a feeling that this post will get quoted after the game is over.

It surely will now, one way or the other! (And don't call me Shirley!)

Well, about 25% of the time he doesn't score 30. And that includes some games against bad teams (Chicago, Minny, Pelicans).

But 40% of the time he scores +40. And that often came against teams like us (BRK, CLE, NYK, MEM).

If I were betting, I would assume he is going for over 40.
