Jackson with 25+ points for the third straight game. Maybe he can start a Harden-like streak?

I’m starting to really appreciate Jackson lately. Gotta give it to him, he gives 100% effort every night. Sometimes it’s great and other times terrible, but I have hope for him for the future (his shot aside).

I’m thinking I want Oubre and Warren gone, and to hang on to Bridges and Jackson. I’m not married to it, but I’m leaning that way.
That is exactly where I am. Keep Booker, Bridges, Ayton, Jackson - throw the rest away.

I’m open to giving any of them away. Except maybe Bridges.

Was at the game tonight. Was this Jackson’s best game? He was pretty phenomenal. Kept us in the game until Jazz crushes the 4th quarter.

Side note...the best way to tell that the suns are irrelevant: I got zero comments about my booker jersey. No one cares about the suns

Yeah Jackson looked as good as I’ve ever seen him. Can’t trade him for Ball. He’s really playing well.

Okobo is a horrendous passer

I know Ayton got 20 but that was the most timid 20 I’ve seen. Most of them coming on broken plays. I want him to look terrifying not terrified

Oubre is becoming the lesser version of Josh Jackson and it’s kind of troubling. He was a net -31 tonight. Gross

Hard pass on giving Rubio a bunch of money this summer. I fully expect the Suns to sign him, because they’ll whiff on everything else, and tout him as the young playmaking PG they’ve wanted for years. Barf

Josh Jackson with this ability to get out and run with Lonzo would be fantastic, sigh.

Maybe the Lakers would take Warren and a pick for him if they're desperate for some scoring? Right now they're outside the playoffs.

I don’t think the AD trade, and therefore, the Lonzo trade, is happening. I saw one story that the pelicans had no intention of trading AD to LA, they just made it appear so and had it go public to cause turmoil in the laker locker room.

Koko would kill for the rosters than Gentry and Horny had. Its disingenuous to compare coaches outside of the players, otherwise Brent Brown (and others) should have never made it this far. And when did Phil Jackson or Popovich (great championshiop coaches) have a terrible or all-under-22 team? I get that people are upset, but I think this team has a better foundation this year than last. Still missing pieces, confidence, and experience.

There's absolutely no excuse for us to be worse than last year. None.

No excuses. But there are reasons. We are a younger team this year, with first and second year guys playing a lot of minutes. By the numbers, we are a better offensive team, by +2 points per game. I think we are marginally improved defensively as well (pre-shot), however we give up 3 more points per game off of turnovers and offensive rebounds. You might say that the coaches are to blame for turnovers and 2nd chance points, and they probably accept the blame, but to me youth and inexperience are a major reason. So while we need more pieces to become better in general, we also need our current pieces to grow up. This is of course my opinion. I still watch each game and enjoy them for the entertainment that they are - even though I yell at the players constantly throughout the game. :D

We're not younger. Sure, if you look at average age of the roster overall we are, but Tyson and Jared were not getting many minutes last year, especially the second half of the season.

On this day 1 year ago, we played the Spurs. Our starting lineup was Ulis, Jackson, Warren, Bender and Chriss. Our bench players were Josh Gray (WHO!) Alex Len Troy Daniels Daniel House Alec Peters and Jared Dudley (5 minutes). (We got destroyed)

Even when we played Chandler and Dudley, Holmes is a much better player than Chandler. Ayton, Oubre and Bridges are much more skilled now than Bender and Chriss. Jackson should be improved from a year ago.

There's just no excuse. Poor coaching and player development. Those are the reasons. Not expecting us to be in the playoff hunt necessarily, but for example I see a team like Sacramento who has similar talent and I wonder why we are not on a similar trajectory.

Poor management, bad coaching. They have a balanced roster and their players are improving as expected.
