He always misses a billion games with seemingly minor injuries that the team never gives updates on.
He missed 17 games total last year, and 16 the year before. a billion might be an exaggeration. But something is going on this year that is more than a hurt ankle. I am still confused why they used to report it as a bone bruise, but almost immediately switched to 'sore' ankle.
Keep in mind Melton missed a month with a sprained ankle too.

It's really brutal being a fan of this team. I wish there was some way to hurt Robert Sarver's wallet, but every Suns fan could boycott every game and the team would still appreciate in value every year.
I got a call from a Suns guy yesterday trying to sell me tickets. I was angry and didn't answer. He then texted me about the great opportunity to get tickets at low low prices. I wrote a few replies that I kept deleting because I shouldn't be using those words. Instead I just responded with "I am no longer interested in supporting the current ownership group. Call me when that changes."

Tyler Johnson is shooting 6/33 18% as a Sun. That’d be not such a huge deal if...HE WASNT OUR STARTING POINT GUARD.

bbref has him at 7/34 for 20.1%. Stop short changing him.

Only worse shooting during his tenure here I think was Reggie Bullock. I think he was lol 1 for 18 or something dumb like that. I could be totally misremembering and I’m too lazy to look it up. He was bad

Ayton doesn't have that dominant attitude/personality. The more he talks, the more FOS I think he is. It's like he's just saying the things he knows everyone wants to hear and then goes and sleepwalks his way to 16 and 10 because it's good enough for him.
Yup. If he doesn't turn it up, I am going to be so pissed that we missed out on the generational talent of Doncic.

I'm hoping Johnson's start in an anomaly. He always looked good when I watched Miami.

It is infuriating. He says all this stuff about wanting to be dominant but then you watch a game like last night and you forget he's even out there. He's nearly invisible and the opposite of dominant. He's passive.

Still not pretty, but at least they're playing with energy.
Cavs are real bad, we should win this pretty easily by just playing hard
Or... not.
I won’t underestimate our level of suckiness again, haha

Tyler Johnson has had a very nice game so far.
Huh?
I counted at least 4 air balls. He looks like a guy who won a contest to be an NBA player. He is shooting under 20% as a Sun. Sure it’s been a few games but wel be saying the same thing in April if he’s still even getting minutes. We’d see better minutes out of that Juwad Evans guy.
Wasn’t ripping you for posting that but rather Igor for starting him and playing him as much as he did. Pathetic
It was definitely sarcastic...I think he posted that after Johnson airballed a 5 foot shot

Gambo with another epic rant just now, this time about Ayton getting 0 fouls last night.

All World Center Ante Zizic outplays DeAndre "What, Me Worry?" Ayton.
Generational talent. He's Hakeem mixed with Patrick Ewing.. ahahaha.
We may all be frustrated with his effort at times, but the stats he is putting up have hardly ever been put up by a rookie.
As far as Hakeem and Ewing (who were much older as rookies), rookie seasons per 36 minutes:
Rebounds:
Olajuwon 12.0
Ewing 9.2
Ayton 12.2
Points:
Olajuwon 20.9
Ewing 20.3
Ayton 19.1

That was in the first quarter when he had a few rebounds, a couple of steals, and he was making quick passing decisions that lead to easy buckets.
You're right though, as soon as he started shooting it completely flipped for him.

Kind of eerie how similar the numbers are to his own!

Ewing 20.3
Ayton 19.1
Just imagine what he could do if he wasn't so damn passive!
Imagine if he wasn't passive AND had a point guard!
