I despise the 3-point line; or should I say, I despise that we can't DEFEND 3-pointers. Ugh

Swiss cheese D and lots of turnovers.
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (27-36) @ Suns (12-50), Fri 3/1/19
The Hawks are about as bad as we are, but they are way more fun. We have constructed such a joyless roster and team overall.
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (27-36) @ Suns (12-50), Fri 3/1/19
Winning would make them much more joyful.
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (27-36) @ Suns (12-50), Fri 3/1/19
Booker is a completely different player when he's off the ball and shooting off the catch. It's a thing of beauty watching him play that way. But even with Tyler Johnson on the team and in the backcourt, Booker is still bringing the ball up and playing point. We gotta get him off the ball.
I thought we played OK thru halftime but just couldn't hit shots. Their 3s killed us and we just don't have the shooters to keep up.

Just as an experiment I'd love to see us try zone. At least it would be different, and with our length we'd get tons of steals. We give up open 3's like candy anyway; why not?
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (27-36) @ Suns (12-50), Fri 3/1/19
We played them ahead or even for the whole game except for that 3rd quarter stint where the Pelicans went up 10 and we got as close as 5 but that was it. Once again, it was an issue of not playing well for 48 minutes.
