I like this. Same as Crawford, but more upside, zero downside to kick the tires this season at the end.

It’ll be an entertaining experiment at least.

This has James Jones fingerprints all over it.

I'm ok with this. It's only 10 games to see how it goes and maybe Tyler's and Kelly's injuries are worse than we thought.

I'm fine with it if we sign the Jimmer. Doubt he will be a star for us, but there's little risk if we sign him for the rest of the season. And we're depleted enough by injury that we could use another rotation guard.

A backcourt rotation of Booker / Crawford / Jimmer is going to give up 200 pts per game. James T F isn't even good enough to play in Europe, FFS.
The thing that really bothers me about the signing is that I'm sure Igor is going to play him over Melton and Okobo. Can we play the 2 guys who actually have some upside, please?

Speaking of which, somebody needs to tell Melton to shoot the ball every once in a while. He's so predictable that opponents can just lay off him.

Is that something you are seeing lately, or all year? Just curious because his FGA/36 minutes doesn't look really low. Seems to be in the middle of guys like Bridges/Bender (low side) and Holmes/Crawford (high side) for our non-primary guys.

He’d be a star in Europe. China just offered him a lot of money. I don’t have big expectations for him by any means. This is just kinda a meh signing. We get 10 games to see if he’s progressed as a player and let him go if he hasn’t.

Meh. Who knows if Jimmer is anything more than a curiosity at this point. I also want to see more of Okobo.

No issue with this. It'll be interesting to see if Jimmer has improved any. Zero expectations.

He did, he wants to play in the nba though. I can’t imagine it being much more than vet minimum.

I think you're right that's it's been more as of late. He seemed to come back very tentatively from his injury.
