Devin Booker is a special player. I don't get this line of thinking that he's a prima donna and that we'd be better off without him.
The prima donna stuff comes from what he just pulled. There was no reason for him to come back into the game. Let Jimmer enjoy his hometown crowd and play the garbage minutes at least. No need to steal the spotlight and risk injury in a blowout.

I have no problem with booker coming back in...no one else on the court played like they deserved to be out there. We took him out and looked like crap. Booker was the only one to show up...let him play.

33-point loss.

4th straight season with at least 58 losses.

Worst record since the expansion season (16-66).

Suns will have to go 4-3 the rest of the way to match last year's W-L record.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about putting Booker back in to chase personal accolades while the team is getting annihilated. I was hoping Earl Watson and the Boston Tea Party was the end of that.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

Awesome game by Booker. The rest of the team should arrive to games coming out of a clown car.

No one had any interest in playing defense for the Suns. This should have been a Harlem Globetrotter game.

Might as well give Ayton the night off every Jazz game because he takes it anyway. He is just terrified of Gobert. Ayton needs to grow a pair this offseason.

I didn’t have any problem with Booker taking as many shots as he did. If he didn’t this team would have shot the franchise low for futility. No one had any clue about what to do on offense. I hope Booker shoots as many shots every game they rest of the season as he did tonight. At least it makes it worth seeing if he can get 50+ every night.

I thought what the Jazz did at the end was Busch league. You’re up 30. Play some fuckin defense if you don’t like it. I hope they get swept in the first round of the playoffs for that shit.

Might as well give Jimmer the Tyler Johnson treatment and give him as many minutes as possible. I’m done watching Melton and Okobo play hot potato all night every night.

I guess my main argument for letting Jimmer shoot is that unlike Okobo and Melton at least his shot has a chance at going in.

I think you have to pick one, either Melton or Okobo next season and have them spend most of the year in the G League to build up confidence and learn how to run an offense. These guys aren’t even close to NBA players

i'd shut booker for next game, and experiment with more fredette minutes.

I think if Booker were to be shut down we’d struggle to score 50

The end was a joke...simultaneously trying to get Jimmer shots to appease the Utah crowd and get booker a chance to score 60. I didn’t have a problem with booker playing at the end, but how we played was a joke. It looked like pickup ball. The jazz just took open 3 after open 3 because we weren’t playing defense and booker and Jimmer were putting up shots against double and triple teams.

I didn’t care that Booker stayed in to get 60. I thought it was a joke that Booker came in to try to get 60 and Jimmer decided he was the star and tried to build a house. Booker ended up not gettng any touches at the end because of Jimmer the brick layer tried to look good for his crowd. Going 1/10 and keeping the ball out of your stars hands in that situation doesn’t impress me much at all.

Last night, the Suns looked like a Boys & Girls club team with one star and bunch of slugs whose only dribbling occurred in the restroom ...

Aside from Booker, no other Suns was in double figures scoring.

Only Booker and Fredette took more than 8 shots from the field.

Fredette had more FG attempts than Ayton, Bender, Bridges, Daniels, Melton and Okobo --- all of whom played more minutes.

Melton and Okobo combined for 4 pts in 49 minutes. The allegedly shot-challenged Ricky Rubio had 18 pts. in 27 minutes.

Utah had 31 assists, Suns 12.

All of the Jazz starters were in double figures.

Booker was unstoppable last night. I thought he was even more impressive than the 70-point game. The Jazz defense did everything they could to stop him. It was literally 1-on-5 out there until Jimmer decided to have his cake.

Booker was not the problem last night.

Even with the depleted lineup, there was an opportunity for certain people (Melton, Okobo) to step it up. They didn't.
