It's fun to watch Booker when he's on. And Bender had a rare good game. Other than that, not much to be happy about here. I guess I'm glad they got the loss; we need to ensure the ping-pong balls. I hope Coachoskov just doesn't run Book 45 minutes a night to try to get him 50+ points every night; I don't want my dude getting injured in a meaningless end-of-season game.

We’d have to catch Chicago to lose ping pong balls. I’m not worried.

A bottom-3 record has a 27.4% chance at a top-2 pick, and the 4th-worst record has a 24.7% chance, so even if we do miraculously catch them it doesn’t mean much.

I don't think they can rest Booker, when they already have 4 wings injured. As soon as Johnson, Jackson and Warren come back, Booker could probably rest, but it seems like Booker wants to play now that he's feeling healthy.

The Suns have to kill it this off-season. The blueprint is obvious in what they need and should be easy. In fact, I would think that nearly anyone on here could do a good job this off-season as GM for the Suns.

Ya we are essentially guaranteed a top 3 spot. Chicago has 4 more wins than us. This team isn’t winning 4 more games.

With the current guys injured, there is no way that the Suns catch Chicago. They need some of those guys to come back just to be able to win a game in the near future. If it's not for injuries, it's Kokoskov's moves to deep 6 the game.

I know the roster is depleted but still...it makes him a target and make the org look small time.
What would you prefer he do? Sit? Pass the ball to guys who can't score so we are blown out by 30? What is the other option?
I know, that's why I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's a tough situation to be in all around. However, I don't love him on camera saying "I'm going for 50", considering our record, the fact we're playing another bad team and he's already criticized for having empty stats. It'd be different if we were battling the Rockets for a top seed late in the year and he and Harden are going at each other and he's like "I'm going for 50", in the spirit of competition. Now we just feel like the Knicks, looking for any reason to pump ourselves up after another awful season.

Dude. Relax and enjoy the ride. The kid is special. Last night was a very close game too. You'd rather he score 40 and they lose by 10? Not sure what you're looking for.

Any success this team can get in a positive light I'll take. If Booker wants to try for 50 every night from here til season's end, have at it. He's not hindering the progress of anyone and he's not out there chucking. There's too many injuries currently anyway. If Booker is shut down or only scores 20 we have a hard time getting to 70 points. There's no on on the active team that can make up for those lost points by giving them more opportunity on offense. (Maybe, Jimmer but I'd rather the points go to Booker)

I haven't watched a ton of Thomas Bryant. I saw him when he played at Indiana and I liked him then. I then liked what I saw when he was at the Lakers. I thought it was a good pickup for Washington this year and couldn't understand why the Lakers let him go. I was surprised that he added a 3 pt shot to his arsenal.

I am not sure why people think he sucks. Please enlighten me.

He's another free agent on this Washington team that would be a good pickup for anyone, imo.

I watched him underachieve for 2 seasons at IU. He played lazy and showed zero basketball intuition. Then he left after putting up pedestrian numbers. He always carried himself like he was better than what he was, alot like Romeo Langford is doing this year as well. Bigger than the team attitude I think best describes it.

Bryant still has time to figure it out. He's talented but he seems kind of soft upstairs. Never struck me as a high BBIQ guy.

Why would we shut booker down when he’s playing the best basketball of his career?

Also on the list of back-to-back 50ers: John Brisker, who did it in the ABA in 1970. I’m guessing Bobster has some interesting stories about him.

Just that he supposedly became a mercenary in Uganda in the late 70's as disappeared and was declared dead.

And that he got in A LOT of fights in the ABA.

Also, the 1973 NBA Draft was delayed a couple of days because Seattle had signed Brisker from the ABA despite Philadelphia holding his rights, then the Commissioner penalized the Sonics by taking away their 1973 first-round pick (the 4th pick overall). A court then ruled that only the Board of Governors could do that, so they ended up just awarding an extra pick to Philadelphia and Seattle's second-round pick.

I don’t think he has it in him. Has Ayton made progress this season? In what way is he playing different than in game 1? Serious question.

His defense has been better as the season has progressed. His awareness has improved. Other than that...not a whole lot else.

The only thing I thought was bush league was him coming back in to the Utah game. That was pure stat-padding.

His game last night was brilliant and every one of those points was necessary. We had a shot to win.

His rebounding has been pretty good all year - his assertiveness on offense, not so much.

I learned those facts from Wikipedia.

He's the only reason I'm following or watching this pathetic franchise right now. To have him shut down, I'd be done with this team for awhile. Let him get his. He's 22 years old in a league of huge egos where younger fans love the highlights more than the results.
