Yeah, this is good. I would rather the Suns give up the Milwaukee pick and even the 2021 pick, than #6 this year though.
Sure, but I would take SGA 2nd in this draft, so I wouldn’t hesitate to move #6 for him.

Would you offer Durant a max contract if he opted out and nobody else did?
I would. I think he's in great shape, and I don't think I would classify his game as one that over-relies on athleticism. I think he'll return to being a top-5 player for at least a couple of years.
His Achilles is in great shape. The shape of a mound of mush crumpled up below his calf.

Max contract? Are we damn fools now?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Can you even sign someone to a contract when they are injured? How would any insurance company underwrite that?

Honestly could see him as a smallball 4 in some situations.

I think so too. He needs to bulk up 20 pounds or so, but he puts in the work.

He's got a good frame to put on solid weight. He could get to 225 easily and be effective there.

I don't think the Pelicans would really even consider that deal.

The Suns 2019 pick could easily end up being the highest of the three, but I guess the value kind of depends on the supposed incoming "double-draft".

Isn't that "double-draft" coming at the earliest in 2022?

I don't think anyone really knows for sure. The impression I get is that Silver could basically change the rule over night, so it's hard to project.

I don’t get all the SGA love. Why would we want to give up #6 and Jackson for a PG who gets the same amount of assists as Melton?

Comparing him to Melton makes me wonder if you've ever watched SGA play.

I haven’t watched him much except for when he played against the Suns. But from what I did see, I was not very impressed, and his stats are not very impressive either. I would much rather trade #6 for Lonzo or Dinwiddie.

I don’t get Lonzo...he’s literally the worst shooter we’ve seen in a long time.

SGA was not tasked with running the offense much in LA, but he showed he can do that in college. His shooting splits are light years ahead of Melton.

I liked the limited amount I saw of SGA in the late regular season and playoffs. Seemed wise beyond his years, seemed to get it. Dunno if his stats are good but he passed the eye test for me.
