Weather change bad, size of city good - was in Moscow last year and was blown away by how big and clean it is, and how epic the underground network is.

And he can probably smoke now if he wants to, so there’s that too.

Yet half the members of this board STILL aren’t ready to give up on him. Not a single NBA team wanted him.

It might be that CSKA Moscow offered him a lot more money than NBA teams would/could pay. Does anybody know the amount of Bender's new contract? I can't find it.

I guess it’s time to change my profile image. If anyone asks, I was using it ironically for the whole time he was here

So what to do with all these pgs? We could use a troy Daniels type replacement. Sg pure shooter who will provide some microwave scoring off the bench. Any ideas as to who fits that profile?

I think we need to trade Okobo for a comparably skilled wing-player in a similar development stage. Someone like Wes Iwundu.

My God you’re in denial. So it’s not that he sucks.’c it’s that he’s so in demand and Moscow won the bidding war   give me a break!

It seems like he hasn't signed with CSKA yet, but that he has an offer in place if he doesn't find anything (he likes) in the NBA.

Rice may get a shot at it. Seems to be a gunner with 3pt range. I don't know that he "shined" in SL...

I think we still have one open regular roster spot and one 2-way (excluding Rice). I'd like to see us bring in one more big guy.

15 man roster is set. We just have 1 2-way slot left.

Rubio, Jerome, Okobo, Carter
Booker, Johnson, Lecque
Oubre, Bridges, Johnson
Saric, Kaminsky, Diallo
Ayton, Baynes

That’s 15, plus the Jared Harper 2-Way

Possible nine man rotation:

Code: Select all

Rubio - 32 T.Johnson - 16
Booker - 34 T.Johnson - 8 Bridges - 6
Oubre - 22 Bridges - 26
Saric - 30 Kaminsky - 10 Oubre - 8
Ayton - 32 Baynes - 16
Maybe Cam beats out Kaminsky, or maybe one of the young point guards beats out TJ for some backup minutes.

When does Okobo's contract become guaranteed? I think we can still cut him and sign someone at a position of need.

I think his contract was always guaranteed for 2 years.

Doesn’t say in the article, but ESPN’s list of free agents in 2020 and 2021 has Kaminsky with a team option for year 2. That’s good if true.

I agree that he didn't overly shine in SL, but I liked what I saw. I think there's lots of potential there. I'm not sure what an Exhibit 10 contract is though.
