So there is a pickup in talk that the possibility of KD to Phoenix has improved greatly today. I'm not saying it's possible, but if the Suns could get KD, but had to use their #1 pick to clear enough room for him would you do it?

Say the Suns get the #1 pick, but in order to clear enough room, they had to trade down to get someone to take Tyler in the trade to make enough room to sign KD. It could be to ATL and PHX also receives #9 and a little more that after KD signs, you still had enough to trade for AD or Jrue. So you could possibly pick up Ja, Clarke, KD and Jrue for the rights to Zion, TJ, Tyler, Josh, Okobo and picks.

They could still sign Oubre, Holmes and a MLE and others
The chances maybe went from 0 to .0001%

KD isn’t coming. But I think the easiest way to get that space would be to stretch Tyler and dump TJ. That gets you to 33-34 million in space. What does a max for KD start at?

And how exactly would we get Ja if we trade #1 for #9?

Booooo, you're no fun. You trade with ATL if they get the #2 pick, they also have Dallas's pick top 5 protected which would most likely be #9. I'm guessing you need to get to a bit over $30 mil

I see, so Tyler and 1 for 2 and 9....That would get us to like 25-26 million in space.

I doubt if we'll clear space before free agency begins, unless we can somehow get an indication that a max player wants to come here.

I'm pretty sure that they'll know in advance one way or the other.

I think I would just keep Zion,

But if the pick is #2, I would consider trading down to clear space for AD.

For Durant, I would try to work out a sign and trade with the Warriors. Maybe they would want Tyler or Warren.

Durant and Kyrie are going to the Knicks. Almost everyone in the league is saying it.

Jared Dudley thinks that Kawhi is going to the Lakers. I would not mind getting AD, but any commitment he gives us would only be verbal I think. That is a lot of risk with Rich Paul involved.

Off topic but do we have a doctor on the board? I wanted to hit someone up with questions about my son who is experiencing some arm pain when he throws. I have taken him off the mound already and I am unsure if I should shut him down completely, move him to a position that sees much less use in 12-year-old baseball or just have him ice it after every game and practice.

My advice, FWIW: See a sports medicine specialist. Go ahead and invest the time and copay instead of looking for a free consultation from someone on the board who has never met your son.

I could recommend someone if you lived near me, but you don’t, so ask people who live near you, or just ask your insurance company for a specialist in network.

I don't think Medicaid covers this type of stuff but I'll look into it. It's sore not acute pain so I'm not super worried. Most likely "little league elbow" and I figured if there were a doctor on the board that saw a fair share of it then they could recommend a commonly prescribed treatment plan.

I know it's hard to remember what we all do IRL but I'm disabled (no income) so just going to a sports medicine specialist is easier said than done because of my lack of resources. I will see what I can do though and rest him the next week in the meanwhile to see if that helps.

I’m also disabled and on Medicare, and as recently as a few years ago had a sports medicine specialist as my PCP. Not that I needed it, he just happened to be the closest doctor to my home. So my guess is that it is possible. Only way to know is to contact your insurance company. Do you have a Medicare Advantage or Medigap plan, or just the bare bones?

He is on Medicaid not Medicare. It's also his own plan. Not under me or his mom. I'm going to have to check what they cover.

Singh (doesn't post much anymore) is a doc (I think internal medicine?) and Saucy is a doc (emergency med?).

Singh doesn't post much anymore, but perhaps he lurks.

I think saucy is around a bit more often. :P

Yes I sent him a PM but rehabilitation/PT from chronic injuries is not really in my realm
