Because he's an asshole?Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 10:42 amWhy hasn't anybody gone after DeMarcus Cousins yet? If he recovers and loses a few pounds this offseason, couldn't he end up being a really good center for somebody? What team still needs a big man?

^ That's going a bit far, haha. Just let the guy make his announcement when he's ready, for Pete's sake.
Re: Around the League: The Off-season
He basically won GS a game in the finals. He's still a handful at times and should be much better 2 years removed from injury. It could be he's looking for too much money.ShelC wrote:He switched agents to try and find a deal but he's been off the radar for the most part. He didn't look good in the playoffs, understandably. I like the Heat as a fit if he can get into shape. Not sure who else...Clips? Spurs? Probably going to have to be another 1yr deal to show can he play and move.
Go Suns!

As long as we are shaking up the whole roster, I'm with my guy wpmiller256. Let's bring him in.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season
I would have stretched Tyler and dumped Melton or Okobo and given Cousins our $10 million leftover cap space, rather than sign Kaminsky for $5 million. We need a rebounder on the roster besides Ayton!

Cousins would never have signed here to come off the bench. Let's get that out there right now. You guys are all high
Re: Around the League: The Off-season
To be clear, I wasn't saying that the Suns should sign him. I was just surprised that no team had gone after him yet.specialsauce wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 1:49 pmCousins would never have signed here to come off the bench. Let's get that out there right now. You guys are all high

Yes not referring to you. I’m surprised he hasn’t signed with anyone yet too, but he’s not signing with the worst team in the league and coming off the bench on a cheap deal. Dreaming is free here I guess.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 2:04 pmTo be clear, I wasn't saying that the Suns should sign him. I would have started him next to Ayton, and let Saric come off the bench.

I was hoping we wouldn't have the DMC discussion. You just can't entertain bringing that guy in here. Nothing against him, just not the right scene.

Still can't believe we just gave Warren away
Jones and Vogel gotta go.
Re: Around the League: The Off-season
I was done with Warren after last season. Playing half the games and then being out that long with a bone bruise was just too much. Glad he’s gone.

Re: Around the League: The Off-season
I don’t mind that he’s gone, but agree with the general sentiment that it seems we didn’t get good value in the trade, including a pick and not getting any back. Was that really necessary?
