Let’s see what they do with the money. If they spend it on Randle and a Pg (not Corey Joseph), I’m okay.
Randle is going to get a lot more than we were paying TJ, and he doesn't solve any of our PF needs besides rebounding.
He is a stretch 4 that also helps with rebounding. He absolutely fits the bill. People that assume he can’t hit the 3 did not watch him this year.
I watched him. I would not classify Randle as a stretch 4 just yet. And you absolutely can NOT play him at C. The defense put up last in the league d-rating stats when Randle played the 5. He's basically a traditional 4 that can hit the 3 sometimes. Don't get it twisted though. He takes 15 shots a game and less than 3 are 3-pointers.
Go Suns!

Thanks for making a thread for this. Let's please make a thread for each Suns transaction that occurs. Go go go!
I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic, but in my defense I thought this was going to be a bigger trade. If I knew we just dumped him and had to attach 32, I wouldn’t have created a new thread.
I'm being serious. I do want a thread for each move. This is good to have its own thread about. Thanks!

Ashley has been posting cryptic tweets for days. She seems to imply that something big is in the works.

She tweeted earlier about how she receives information from sources but doesn't always release that information if she doesn't have other sources to verify.

Hopefully it is cap space for a good player that doesn’t disappear every year.
Whatever helps you feel better about the trade.

Awful...so far. This is a direct result of the stupid effing Tyler Johnson acquisition. Unless he opts our (he won’t)

She seems pretty chummy with players...I think those are her sources.

Lowe said he would withhold judgement until after seeing what we do with cap space, repeated 3 times.

Ashley Nevel said the suns will do something bigger

The icing is giving up the pick while getting cash. But supposedly this is the same GM that traded Anderson's contract for Meth and his extra 5M. And now he needs extra cap space. Ok. Carry on.

She’s pretty new. She did say warren would be gone, 99%. She said she thought Igor would be gone...of course she said that after it happened. I haven’t ever really seen her break anything specific...

He shot 34% from 3 on less than 3 attempts. And he is a really high usage player (28%). That would not be a good fit with Book and Ayton.

98.7 said somebody was saying that. Not sure if it was her or not.

How much cap space do we have now? Around $25 million?

It depends on whether we sign Oubre (as well as all our other FAs like Holmes and Bender), and on whether we keep Tyler Johnson or stretch him. We don't currently have max cap room or close to it unless we renounce Oubre, which I don't think we would want to do.
