Russell-Booker-Saric would be stupid bad on defense and lack overall athleticism, even with Ayton and Bridges/Oubre.
What if they get Brogdon instead of Russell?
I'd be way more interested in Brogdon, yes.

Gambo talking up Brogdon right now, but that probably means he’s not an option, haha

Brogdon seems less likely to me than DLo. But it depends on if Kyrie is going to the Nets. I'm pretty confident, that the Bucks match anything for Brogdon more than the Nets matching DLo if they sign Kyrie, but who knows.

I heard this morning that the Nets are having cold feet on Kyrie, because they thought he was a package deal with KD and aren't sure he's coming.

I don't think the Bucks would match every amount for Brogdon. Middleton is their priority, and if he signs the max, which is expected, they'll definitely have to think long and hard about how much they're willing to pay for Brogdon.

That could be. I thought they wanted to bring back the crew though.

That team will still be 1000x better than what we've had for the last 8 years.

To get Brogdon away from Milwaukee you'll have to pay him close enough to D'Angelo Russell's salary that you might as well get Russell. Russell isn't a perfect player but he averaged 21 and 7 last year, while Brogdon averaged 15.6 and 3.2 in similar minutes.

I liked Warren as a player on offense - but he's weak defensively and not much of a passer or rebounder and he misses 30 games a year, so I won't miss him.

I'm sure they'd love to bring them all back, but they put themselves in a tough spot with the Bledsoe contract. Credit them for having some really good players, but now that a bunch of teams have cap space, someone's going to get pried away with more money than the Bucks can or are willing to offer.

Yeah, but Brogdon is a player that makes any system/rotation just better. I'd go with him over Russell any day, especially since I already have Booker.

Thanks. I was wondering about how their contracts would compare because I assume we'll have to pay the max value for either player. In a vacuum, Russell is the better player and he has rapport with Booker. I don't exactly love it, but it seems more logical.

Do you think Brogdon and Russell can still go up a level? I think Russell can, but I'm not sure about Brogdon.

The only thing about Brogdan I don't like is that he can't really get his own shot any time he wants. I'm not sure he satisfies the need for another creator that creates for himself and others.

Brogdon is a 50/40/90 player and actually defends. I'd pay him $20M/yr and not really think twice about it. Especially if you're telling me I would have to give DAR $25M more.

I'd love to take Brogdon at 20M annually.

Honestly, I'd be fine with either. Just get me a talented young man.

I don't need him to. Having Brogdon shoot like he has and defend like he has is more than enough. My worry that a lot of that is due to the attention that Giannis draws and Booker isn't create quite that much gravity.

If trading TJ for space that helps you sign a player that fits better, it seems like it was worth it. I don't get this site sometimes.
