If you told me after this miserable season ended that our award entering draft night would be #11, Dario Saric and Cash, I would have showered you with vomit.

Here are Saric's stats from last season:

https://www.basketball-reference.com/pl ... cda01.html

In 25 minutes, he averaged 10.6 ppg on .437/.365/.880 splits, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 TO, 2.2 fouls. Hmm, I thought his 2-point shooting was better, but that's pretty solid from 3pt and FT.

Take Clarke, dump Jackson, sign D-Lo...that feels like what we might do
That would be great. It would make the TJ Warren trade make sense in retrospect.

An hour ago Gambo declared confidently that we were drafting Coby White. Gambo can go jump in a lake.

Lol.

I have wanted Saric since last off-season. He’s a great pairing next to Ayton. Great acquisition. I wasn’t excited about anyone at 6 so I don’t care about moving down 5 spots. So we have our starting 4. We need a backup 4, starting Pg and some depth and we’re set.

Saric is a great pairing with Ayton. If we can come out of this offseason with D'Angelo, Saric, and Clarke, I would consider that a very solid success.

haha

Yeah, I hope he delivers. Obviously a huge difference from having nothing at PF, but he is just nothing special. Defensively it will not be pretty.

JFC, I just posted in the TJ thread that drafting White doesn't make sense.

It's all happening too fast! What do I do with my hands?!!

This feels like we upgraded, and it's nice that Saric is a cheap contract.

Exactly. He's lost his clout in the FO. We're as informed as he is at this point.

For a year. And then we'll have to (decide whether to) pay him. Hopefully he'll work out well here and will pair well with Ayton.
