This suns team has fight. Love it. Kaminsky has been biggest surprise of yr for us so far
He’s serviceable, but I still can’t believe Charlotte passed on four first-round picks to take him.
Unfortunately that's what he'll always be known for.
Not after he's done with his Suns' stint!
That's the spirit! People want to trash him for not living up to his draft spot potential instead of what he's giving us on the court. Love the guy. And Saric had a great line too.
I’ve been a fan boy of his since he dominated UA in college

Watched it late.

WOW!!!! We have a real team that plays big time defense. Who would have thought? Booker needed to step it up and he did. Even Šarić came through. So stoked!!!

Everyone played well tonight. Carter had some cringeworthy moments trying to score again but his defense and energy were fantastic tonight. Man so excited for this season. Makes Aytons suspension even harder to take.

He even had 6 assists tonight.

That’s because this is exactly the type of team Jeff likes to coach. Gritty, hard nosed players getting after it all game long. Booker is kind of the exception there and you need at least one.
Go Suns!

That’s why I hate seeing him in orange. Still, I’m shocked he’s averaging 15 & 7. He seems to be thriving in the PF role somehow even though he’s slow as molasses and just hit his first 3 tonight (making him just 3-13.)
Go Suns!

Have just finished watching and haven’t read the thread so possibly repeating what others have said but that is a big time win, potentially season defining. You can draw on a win like that when the going gets tough all season long.
This team had a few things Suns haven’t in previous years - toughness and character. And the early returns on Monty as head coach are very promising indeed. Excited to see what the rest of the season will bring.

My opinion of the team has improved so much over this past week. Unbelievable way to start the first 3 games.

I have a new level of respect for Oubre. He really is part of the heart of this team right now. The team ended their meeting with "Valley Boyz". I felt the game was in doubt until his fastbreak rebound/dunk at the end of the game.

Yup Yup
I think it's super cool that they're saying that after huddles 8-)

Gonna say it again, concerns over his 3pt shooting amd tunnel vision were/are warranted but never understood why people said he might not play as hard after getting the payday. That dude only knows one way :)

I don’t get that hate. He didn’t do anything dirty or talk shit. He just dominated an overrated Wildcats team. Sounds like a bunch of crybabies in Tucson.

Do we win this game with Ayton and/or Rubio?

I only ask because sometimes backups tend to play with more urgency and the opposing team doesn't have a scouting report on the new lineup. My gut says we still win but I also don't think Rubio hits some of those 3 that Jevon does (conversely, he runs the offense better) and maybe Baynes was a better screener/interior defender?

I don't think it would have hurt us to have Rubio and Ayton. The pair often connect for alley-oops and easy roll baskets. And Rubio would have gotten some good looks for others by running our offense. Yes, Baynes is a better interior defender than Ayton, but we could still have used Baynes as much as needed even if Ayton were in the lineup.
