Even though I don't think Ayton's suspension is going to hurt them a great deal, since James did a good job of building up the depth in this roster, I do think that Ayton taking a huge leap is going to ultimately decide if the Suns make a huge leap. I've been pretty confident that the Suns will be winning well over 30 games this year, if Ayton truly makes the leap, we could be realistically talking about a 30+ win improvement.
What are you talking about, we're already on pace for a 40-win improvement, without Ayton!
A buddy of mine asked of I wanted to go to the Suns Miami game tomorrow. I said yes. He looked at seats and said there are two seats right behind the Suns bench. The price was pretty steep but, I thought about the year we are having and decided F it! i’m going!
That's cool man

We finally cracked top 10 in Sagarin. Miami is #7.
This was fun. Bridges is listed as having a 7’1 wingspan, but I don’t think he’s been officially measured. At least not in a few years. Chris Vernon said they’re the longest arms he’s seen. KOC said there is no way they are only 7’1....say’s his reach is more like 7’7. Think he was exaggerating with the 7’7 comment, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a 7’3 or 7’4 wingspan. Dudes arms are super long.

If a person’s wingspan is comprised of his shoulder width + arm lengths + hand lengths, because bridges has narrow shoulders, that’s the reason why he doesn’t measure a broader wingspan (7’1”) like guys of similar height - Ben Wallace (7’2”), Scottie Pippen (7’3”) or Kawhi Leonard (7’3”).
My guess is there’s a visual trick being played as well - Bridges wingspan *seems* much longer than any body else’s but this is a visual exaggeration because his very long arms (probably longer than Wallace’s, Pippen’s and Leonard’s when measured independent of shoulder width) are attached to a much narrower frame.
I wrote something on this a while back which covers some of the same ground.
Very possible...Also, the only official measurement on Bridges comes from before his senior year of high school and he was 6’6 with shoes with a 7’1 wingspan...so it’s possible he’s grown a bit as he apparently measured 6’6 barefoot this year.

There’s a few pre-draft links in the below link that mainly say 7’1”:
A few others not on there have it as high as 7’2”.
Checking his age, he was 2 months shy of being 22 when he was drafted so all of his growing probably will have been done by then but not definitely.
And if you want to add another variable to the mix - my wingspan is 6’11” but if you measured the right side of my wingspan (middle of my neck to the end of my right hand) and doubled it you’d think my wingspan is 7’0” as it’s a full inch longer than my left side.

Ya I’m sure he has been done growing for awhile, he didn’t go to the combine though and the only official measurement I’ve seen came when he was in high school. I just wonder if anyone’s measured his wingspan recently.
