Heat guard Dion Waiters had panic attack after consuming edible, sources say

Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters experienced a panic attack on the team's charter flight Thursday night after consuming a THC-infused edible, sources told ESPN.

Waiters faces missing out on a $1.2 million contract bonus if he misses four more games this season. Waiters is owed $24 million over this season and next as part of a deal he signed with the Heat in 2017.

It's kind of funny that Chriss joins the juggernaut Warriors and instantly they're a deep lottery team. Correlation or causation?

Guess which team currently has the worst record in the NBA? The Golden State Warriors.

So the Heat suspend Waiters 10 games for eating THC gummies and causing an incident on the team plane. Will the NBA add more games? Is 10 fair for Waiters considering Ayton got 25? I know the drugs are different in each case, but THC gummies, in-season, on a team plane that causes an emergency landing?

And he wasn't even playing anyway, right? Don't remember his playing against the Suns.

Lakers about to lose to the Raptors right now, can’t help to think that they are gonna come out swinging Tuesday.

That's looking like it'll be a really fun game. The contrasting styles will make for an interesting watch, but I can already see Baynes getting into foul trouble early.

We haven't talked much about the Celtics, but they look legit this year. I don't think it's a coincidence that they have been very good with IT and Kemba, but didn't live up to expectations with Kyrie.

It's too bad that Hayward broke his hand. He was really playing well for them. I heard he had surgery, but does anyone know if he'll be back for the playoffs?

Is he going to be one of those oft-injured “what could have been” guys?

Is karma telling him he should have never left Utah?

The Lakers fans have been especially obnoxious over the last few years. Plenty of open seats for them to choose from when they are playing the worst team in the NBA. I think the city of Phoenix has quickly noticed that their team is performing well and the bandwagon has already started. I don’t think there will be as many seats for the Laker fans this time around.

I read where the Suns have been the best performing team in the first quarter this year so far. That wasn’t the case n the Heat game. The Heat started out with several easy layups and took control. Against the Lakers that first few minutes will be almost as important as the last few imo.
