#NotTheOnionHeat guard Dion Waiters had panic attack after consuming edible, sources say
Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters experienced a panic attack on the team's charter flight Thursday night after consuming a THC-infused edible, sources told ESPN.
Waiters faces missing out on a $1.2 million contract bonus if he misses four more games this season. Waiters is owed $24 million over this season and next as part of a deal he signed with the Heat in 2017.
And he wasn't even playing anyway, right? Don't remember his playing against the Suns.ShelC wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:57 pmSo the Heat suspend Waiters 10 games for eating THC gummies and causing an incident on the team plane. Will the NBA add more games? Is 10 fair for Waiters considering Ayton got 25? I know the drugs are different in each case, but THC gummies, in-season, on a team plane that causes an emergency landing?
That's looking like it'll be a really fun game. The contrasting styles will make for an interesting watch, but I can already see Baynes getting into foul trouble early.Wally_West wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 10:11 pmLakers about to lose to the Raptors right now, can’t help to think that they are gonna come out swinging Tuesday.
I hope there is a loud BEAT LA chant at the start to remind those annoying laker fans what’s upFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 10:38 pmThat's looking like it'll be a really fun game. Wait, Hayward recently broke his hand? The guy is snakebitten.O_Gardino wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 3:16 pmWe haven't talked much about the Celtics, but they look legit this year. I don't think it's a coincidence that they have been very good with IT and Kemba, but didn't live up to expectations with Kyrie.
It's too bad that Hayward broke his hand. He was really playing well for them. I heard he had surgery, but does anyone know if he'll be back for the playoffs?
Is he going to be one of those oft-injured “what could have been” guys?Superbone wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 5:39 pmWait, Hayward recently broke his hand? Is karma telling him he should have never left Utah?Cap wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 5:47 pmIs he going to be one of those oft-injured “what could have been” guys?Superbone wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 5:39 pmWait, Hayward recently broke his hand? The Lakers fans have been especially obnoxious over the last few years. Plenty of open seats for them to choose from when they are playing the worst team in the NBA. I think the city of Phoenix has quickly noticed that their team is performing well and the bandwagon has already started. I don’t think there will be as many seats for the Laker fans this time around.Danimal wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 4:43 amI hope there is a loud BEAT LA chant at the start to remind those annoying laker fans what’s upFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 10:38 pmThat's looking like it'll be a really fun game.
