How about us being 6-3 after 9 games with two of those losses by 1 point each? That's better than most of us imagined before the season started.
Officially, we’re still 1-0. It was reported on TNT that our season was over when Ayton was suspended.

Another great win, and I am particularly impressed at how the team responded to losing earlier this week. I think Rubio and Baynes are a steadying force for the team--can't give Jones enough credit for putting this team together.

We seem to start out most games with a heavy dose of Rubio-Baynes. You almost forget Booker is on the team.

Too early to talk about a Baynes extension? Gotta keep that dude in the team. I think his stellar play will cut into Aytons minutes when he gets back. Might have to figure out how to put them both on the court. Not sure if that’s a thing.

Granted it was against the end of the Nets bench, but Okobo looked really solid in the last six minutes. He was playing under control much more and just looked comfortable in general. I think he should get 15-20 minutes on nights when Rubio is out for rest at the very least.
Rubio isn't going to sit games just to rest. He doesn't want that, and Monty doesn't want that.

Baynes would be the second best player on the team, if he didn't get in foul trouble.

I only watched the first 3 quarters, but man that was fun. Book was an assassin last night. Rubio was hitting shots. Oubre was steady, which is a really good thing for him. Cam is starting to feel comfortable, and I'm still surprise at how well he's playing defense. Good game, rookie.

Saric had a better shooting night. Even though he didn't hit a ton, his shot looked much better and his body language on offense was much much improved. My only issue with Saric is that he tries to draw fouls under the basket and then stays back to complain to the refs when he doesn't get the call.

Kaminsky's poor shooting has gotten into his head. Early in the season, he played well overall even when the 3 wasn't falling. The last couple of games, he has been a big negative on both ends.

I'm glad Carter sat this one out until garbage time. He had gotten too cocky and was killing our offense.

The bench was our biggest asset the first few games, but with Kaminsky and Carter falling off, we are pretty thin now.

What is even going on with Bridges' shot?

Kaminsky is the guy who is struggling the most. Last week it was Saric. I think it’s extremely rare that every guy on your team is hot at the same time all year. Somebody is always struggling with their shot at different times of the year. I don’t have any doubts that Kaminsky will find his shot as another teammate loses their shot. It’s just is the way it is. Okobo is the the redundant guard who can play. Somebody could get hurt or go Kaminsky for awhile and we will be glad we have him to plug in.

The entire team does this. Almost like it's a directive from Monty.

It seems a lot of NBA players are more concerned with drawing the foul than making the shot.

Wish we had Ayton right now so we could sit Kaminsky for a bit. Guy has been just awful lately. He’s shooting 15% from 3. Would be nice if Diallo could figure out how to play in Monty’s system so he could take a few minutes. Don’t we have a short term exception to sign a player while Ayton is suspended? Any bigs out there that can help us?

I don't notice it as much with the other guys. Maybe it's my blinders. I've actually thought Booker does it much less than he did in previous years.

I'll watch the rest of the team next game and see how much they do it.

This team is legitimately good. I almost want to cry. It has been so long. Every game this year is such a treat to watch.
+1

So enjoyable

Obviously taking down the Clippers and Sixers were huge but this was my favourite game.
Like others said tonight was all about how they responded, that's always a good indicator on how the coach is doing

I like Cam, he moves much better than I was expecting
Happy that we are getting Heat 6th man Tyler so far this season. He's been an impact sub most nights

Cool Booker stat: when he touches the ball for less than two seconds before shooting, he’s hitting 76.0% of twos and 57.1% of threes for an EFG of 81.1%.
