Tyler-30 Frank -25.

Frank the Clank has looked closer to Ryan Anderson than anyone else this season. Had about 4 good games and is accumulating a lot of garbage games.

Devin can't take 13 shots, especially if Rubio's out. He should be taking 20+ as it is, but if Rubio's out we need PointBook and IsoBook.

Tough to do when Boston can simply double and trap him whenever he touches the ball. Who else scares them? Absolutely no one.

Wow, no Rubio. That’s going to be tough.
Worse than I imagined. No energy tonight. That was a real dud.

Suns generally have struggled to beat the really good teams. I see a L here. Suns are good, but they're not that good.
What a surprise.

I think Kelly should do push-ups after he shoots an air ball
He should have been forced to drop 20 after the game along with the rest of his teammates.

Man, Rubio reminds me of a poor man's Nash all the way down to the injuries. A bad back, oof. I hope it isn't serious. Rest all you need, sweet Rubae. Get well.

Watched all of this one and the guys just didn't have it on offense, and then they put up a lackluster effort on defense. Boston closes out well on 3-point shooters and nobody seemed able to hit from distance, which really hurt our scoring. We had a pathetic score after the 1st and 2nd quarter. We got an early little lead but then you could feel it slip away and the game just felt like a loss from late in the first quarter onward. You can really feel the lack of flow to the offense when we don't have Rubae out there running the show. Carter and Johnson can't set up plays in that way. And I cringed watching Okobo out there.

Another game where we got very little from the PF spot. Saric was 3-13 and Kaminsky was 2-7. Cam Johnson, if you call him a PF, had 3-10 shooting. Oof. Wish we had more reliable production from that spot from game to game. Saric at least had 10 rebounds and seems to give us a lot of other facets of his game even when his shot isn't falling.

You can really tell that this team misses Ayton. We're missing a second scorer. We can't expect Baynes to score 20+ every night, and Oubre works much better as a third or fourth scorer who can pick up 14-15 garbage points in the flow of the offense, rather than being a guy you rely on as a cornerstone of your scoring. Hurry back, DeAndre.

Yea last night sucked. I still don't think Boston is all that good, they just play super hard. They're also a tough matchup because they have a bunch of different types of swingmen who are stronger and thicker than ours which is why we were getting outmuscled all night. They didn't go big much so Frank and Baynes didn't feel as effective. And Frank can get pushed around by just about anyone. But guys like Kelly, Cam, Dev, Bridges can't match the physicality of Brown, Smart, Ojeleye, or both Williams'. And those guys being physical lets Tatum do his thing offensively.

We're in trouble without Rubio that's for sure. I don't want to put a ton of faith in a guy who hasn't played yet, but you wonder what a PG like Ty Jerome can add to the equation. It's been just under a month with that injury that was said to keep him out 2-4 weeks. Hopefully we can get him into the mix sooner than later.

Our bigs are what they are. Baynes and Frank are being overextended at this point and Diallo hasn't sniffed any minutes (and with good reason). It was unfair to expect them to keep up the production for 25 games and now we're in the thick of that suspension. Just gotta push thru at this point.

This isn't a big stretch from Worm, or him being pessimistic. He is just basing it off of what we have already seen. We have struggled against good defenses, and feasted on bad ones.

Against these teams, we are 1-5 against teams with a top 10 defense (based on Defensive Rating):

LAL 0-1
UTA 0-1
MIA 0-1
BOS 0-1
DEN 0-1
LAC 1-0 (before PG was playing)

Against teams in the bottom 10:

SAC 1-0
GSW 1-0
MEM 1-0
BKY 1-0
ATL 1-0

Middle of the pack
PHI 1-0

True to both, but +7 of those for Carter were in the garbage time where it didn't matter and the game was out of reach. But up to that point he was certainly positive and TJ was very negative.

Carter (+8) and Baynes (+4) were the only positive players before garbage time. Really bad game by everyone last night. We can't win if Booker plays that way if we don't have Rubio or Ayton. Just can't happen.

It's going to be like that if shots aren't falling. Baynes was missing his, Book had some early shots rim out. We don't have a real dribble drive or low post threat for reliable offense.

And TJ seems much more comfortable playing off the ball as a scorer than have PG responsibilities. Carter makes plays on defense but he's basically bringing the ball upcourt, passing to someone and cutting away to the corner.

Carter played with the starters. That +\- is nonsense. He played like hot garbage.

That’s not exclusive to him though. The whole team played awful last night
