Game Day: Grizzlies (7-16) @ Suns (11-12), Wed 12/11/19

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

The vet versus the rook. Rubio versus Morant. Both point guards have been playing at a very high level. Rubio has had at least 13 assists in each of the last three games. The Suns have had 29 assists or more in their last seven games. This is their longest streak like this since a Steve Nash team did it from Nov. 30-Dec. 10, 2007.

Go Suns!!!

Grizzlies have some nice pieces but this is one the Suns should win - and must if they are to challenge for playoffs

I'd really like to see us win these next 3 games (Grizz, Spurs, Blazers) giving us momentum going into LA to take on the Clippers with the return of Ayton.

Considering the injuries I think the Suns have faired pretty well. We are still in the middle of the pack. Add in a healthy Baynes and Ayton and our rebounding and defense should improve drastically. Hopefully our standings as well.

I think fared well is massively underselling what the team has done so far this year, and really highlights what an amazing change has happened to the team. I wasn't willing to bet the Suns would win more than 29 games this year WITH AYTON. Current projections have the suns winning 40 games, which is a 21 game improvement over last year!

The team didnt get their 11th win until January 12th. They didn't get their 12th win until February 25th!

Grizz have some fun young players, but we should come out and put them away early. Gotta be active on defense, because they can drive.

Morant hasn’t even been playing, right? We just can’t let someone like Tyus Jones or Dillon Brooks kill us. This should be an automatic win.

If Brooks hits his first couple shots, he may be in a groove, but if he doesn't he tends to have a bad night.

No, he's been back. Had a very nice game his last game.

Fast start here with a Frank 3, Rubio layup and Kelly layup in transition with a free throw on the way. Good to see Frank's shot coming back around.

Wow we missed like every shot after the first 3 minutes. Gotta start taking it inside and get to the line when shots aren't falling like that.
