It’s just a newer type of ring, probably made of silicone. I wear one like that to work because it isn’t conductive.

I wear a black silicone band myself. The gold one annoyed me and nobody looses a finger if you wear a silicone ring. Silicone rings are getting real popular with professionals who work with their hands. Silicone is cheap too. You can get them in tons of styles. I thought about a Suns one.

Thanks for the great videos, 'dack! As for rings and ring fingers, probably most here have heard the tale of Jimmy Fallon and his ring finger? He fell and his ring got caught on something and it injured his finger. He talks about it in this video:

I've known a few people that worked with heavy machinery that lost their fingers because of a ring. Most farmers I know don't even wear them anymore because of it.
