Ugh. A tough Rockets team comes to town. Not what the doctor ordered. I don't expect to win but I just want to see some spirited defense and some stops.

Go Suns!!!

Luckily none of their guards are good at getting to the basket.

It looks like Russell Westbrook is shooting 42.5% overall and 23.3% from 3. His overall numbers like rebounding and assists are down this year as well, understandably so given his new team. He somehow always finds a way to torch us for 40+, but I think this season may be the beginning of the long decline for him.

Remember the Portland game where he played 37 minutes without a rebound?

Shawn Marion he ain't.

We would certainly miss Ayton, Rubio and Saric.

Oubre averages 6 boards a game.

PJ Tucker around 7.2.

They also have Capela (14.5), Westbrook (6.5) and Harden (5.8) in addition to Tucker (7.4)

The Suns would have Ayton, Rubio (who is good for a PG) and a bunch of average-at-best rebounders.

SDC is insistent that we should get Bridges into the starting lineup. I don't see that as an urgent rotational need; Bridges isn't playing very well this year, particularly his shooting, so I see no need to rush him into the starting lineup. Starting jobs should be given to guys who deserve them through excellent play and hard work.

Without Ayton and with Rubio likely out as well, this one could get ugly. I don't really believe in the Rockets as contenders, but it won't take much to beat our short-handed squad. And both Harden and Russ tend to go off for huge nights against us in the last several years. We have long struggled against offensively aggressive superstar lead guards.

Well, I'm having a hard time coming up with five guys then.

Bridges fg is 48%, his FT is almost 80%

He's shooting only 30% on threes this season, but historically he's been a good outside shooter, so I'm not too worried about this.

This, especially if it also includes healthy.

Speaking of that, interesting that the first season we outsource our training to a for-profit company whose job it is to spend the least and charge the most, we have half our roster questionable for a good part of the season...
