Booker had 34 pts., but also 8 TOs.
Rubio had 7 TOs.

15 TOs by Suns two primary ball handlers.
And only 8 assists to those 15 turnovers by our starting backcourt.

This team is a bunch of fools. No effort no heart. James Jones needs to be looking for external improvement
Other than Ayton this team has zero athletic bigs in the rotation.

Holmes would look good out there right now. At least he gave them some effort and some energy.
Was just thinking about how good Holmes would be for this team, especially for the pittance that Sac got him for. Oh well.

Baynes still isn't moving right. I assume he still has some calf or hip issues. When he isn't at 100% our defense is just awful.

This game was so painful to watch. We have a much improved roster over last year, but are in a complete free-fall. When this was happening last year, everyone was calling for Igor's head on a platter...

The second-worst offense in the NBA put up 39 points in the fourth quarter on Phoenix. Oof ...

The difference between Igor and Monty is that the players like Monty. The similarities are that neither can coach in the NBA

An interview with Monte Williams from this morning. Says Ayton may be out another 7-10 days.
Not trying to fuel the Ayton Doncic comparison but, if you watch, Doncic rolled his ankle pretty similarly and just came back after 4 games. I would figure we'd have seen Ayton in a boot if it were that serious. But our training staff may not have access to these cutting-edge technologies

 yes this is the mindset I had when I posted. Wasn’t trying to criticize Ayton or his ankle but more so the training staff. Or lack there of.

Masochist.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Our defense and turnovers are just brutal lately. I don't know if it comes down to any one thing or any specific player. Almost everybody seems like they're playing badly. Our 3-point shooting is also just awful in most of our games lately.

As much as we complain about production from the PF spot, Saric had 11/10 and 4th Quarter Frank Kaminsky had 10 points, too.

Here's the box score: https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=401161113

If you think Frank is playing well, are you watching the games or checking the box score after? His defense is just about the worst I’ve ever seen.

Frank's defense at center has been atrocious. He is still playing out of position until Ayton finally comes back. As soon as Monty goes to him in the 4th, it's no wonder that they fall apart. It's like clockwork. Not bringing back Rashaun is on Jones. Every Suns fan felt they should have, but oh well.

Frank's offense has been fine. If you look at boxscores, he doesn't look awful. When you watch the games, it is just brutal. Fucking awful.

But he is supposed to be our 3rd string center that is fighting for minutes with Diallo (like 5-8 mpg). I am not sure what Check did to get out of the rotation.

^ That's disrespectful. Tyler Herro would be ecstatic to turn out as good a player as Devin Booker.

But he is a one-way player. If you are going to idolize someone, idolize a two-way, all-time great player that has won a championship. I think it is the right message to send to a young kid that you hope could be an MVP some day (not sure it is realistic, but dream big).
