For those excusing Ayton...hey, I/we want him...need him to succeed for the Suns to win. But here's reality...he was passive as F on offense last night. He stood away from the ball and showed NO fire last night. That has to change quickly or KAT has to be considered. It's one thing to see aggression with misses, etc. But last night...it just wasn't there...we'll see.

Second point...bring back Ty, at least he has potential. Our other second unit/backup PGs suck. The bench unit NEEDS a better PG...badly!
Excusing? Maybe you missed it but he came up huge late in the game, when it mattered. Mind you, he was essentially returning from a 30 game absence last night as a 2nd year player.
Exactly
I watched the end for a third time on NBATV's Marquee Matchup. Not only did Ayton defend Lillard late into an airball but he also defended McCollum earlier in the 4th to a bad shot. He also snagged a bunch of important boards in the 4th.

I have noticed Rubio’s shooting has been on the past 3/4 games. He seems streaky. He is either on or off.
That's because of his flat shot. It has to be straight on and the distance almost perfect. I'm curious why nobody can get him to put a little more arc on his shot in all this time.

Probably because he has been good enough to play professional ball for 15 years and had made 100M doing it. So whatever he spends his time practicing, it is working for him. I hate that answer, but it is probably what it is.

Bridges was pretty bad on D. He’s looked bad lately. Not sure what’s going on with him but he looks like he’s on skates out there.
I thought his defense was pretty good, actually. He had 1-2 nice blocks and shot alterations and seemed to be his usual pesky self. But I admit that I don't always have a great eye for defense.
I thought he looked good, too. I still think he is the most consistent defender we have, and the best as using his talents.

Nobody that has actually played significant minutes for us has a better DRtg (109) and his net +7 is best. Rubio is a net zero, Cam is +2, Aron is +6. Everyone else is negative--Book is a -1. (Elie is a +7 but hasn't even played 300 minutes yet).

Tyler Johnson is a -14.
