Probably too early to go down this path, but perhaps a good thing if we get blown out. James Jones and others seem to think that once aytons back they will fix everything. A bad loss may fully highlight our flaws so they actually do something about it. We don’t have have the luxury of saying give ayton 15 games to find his groove.
Whiteside with 20 mother f*** rebounds. Ayton is the softest big man in the league. Box someone out you giant trash ass no heart bitch.
I knew my trash talk would work!
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
Gutsy win. Can’t believe the Blazers allowed it to happen.
Great games from Oubre and Booker. Would have liked to see more Cam. Not sure why he didn’t get more time especially with how bad Bridges was on D...
Bridges was pretty bad on D. He’s looked bad lately. Not sure what’s going on with him but he looks like he’s on skates out there.
The bench guards are brutal right now. Brutal. No consistency.
Saric? What’s his deal? We have enough other problems
Also has Rubio forgotten how to throw a lob?
Umm, Bridges had the 2nd highest +/- on the team (+18) tonight and had some clutch plays in the 4th. And Rubio was the highest at +21. You're kind of stretching and nitpicking just to pick.
Bridges had the brutal and 1 on Lillard which Booker was noticeably pissed about. Had a block on Melo. Did some good things to get open on offense. But his defense wasn’t really all that great. Got beat to the basket several times.
Wasn’t knocking Rubios game. He played well. Just noticed he doesn’t throw lobs to anyone. Pick and roll lobs used to be a thing when he was on other teams.

Agree. Especially with Ayton, some PnR would be great.

These refs taking Tim Donaghy lessons? A Suns player breathes on Lillard, and he gets foul shots.
Oubre, early in the game, hits a trey and gets shoved backward ... no call.
Portland player closes out the half by barreling into Baynes ... no call.
WTF ...
It’s genuinely bad. Lillard mouths off at the red and next possession is rewarded for being a dick. Monty was getting into the refs but He could have maybe challenged one of those bs calls.
Yeah, the Blazers mouthed off to the refs all night long. It was tough enough having to watch the Blazers broadcast with every replay being their plays.
Solid 3rd quarter. Down six, 89-83, heading into the 4th. Booker and Oubre both having frisky nights with 25 and 21 points respectively. We can still win this.
There is no such thing as overcommenting--its a basketball message board, and its the first game this season that we have a healthy roster!
Agreed. And even though I sometimes go back through the thread and give peeps a hard time in good fun, I appreciate the ebbs and flows of the board's emotion as we go through the game. If you miss a game, that's the best way to get a feel for how the game went.
