Tyler Johnson & Jevon Carter for Malik Monk and Cody Zeller?
I don't think that trade does anything for us. I don't feel great about adding another small guard who doesn't have a reliable ability to shoot or run an offense.
And I feel we can do better than Zeller as a backup for Ayton. I want skill/perimeter shooting and/or shot-blocking/athleticism behind Ayton.
I think Jalen McDaniels and Willy Hernangomez are the guys to get from Charlotte.
No one seems to be upset that Westbrook made it over Booker. Sure, Booker is better than Ingram/CP3/Mitchell, but all those guys were deserving as well. Westbrook was not. He had 1 good month.
Westbrook had his struggles early on this season, but his season numbers are still great. And his team is in the playoffs. And he has the track record. I don't have a problem with him making it.
Disgusted the league didn't take Devin. Chris Paul 17/5/6 on 45% shooting to Devin's 27/4/6 on 51% shooting isn't even comparable. No disrespect to Paul's career accomplishments but that's the exact reason he made the team this year. Because he made it in the past. Chris Paul isn't at the same superstar level anymore. Gross.
Paul is on the team because he is having a really good season and is quarterbacking a playoff Thunder team that most thought would be abysmal.
And to the coaches who DIDN'T vote him in, sorry, but you can't throw double and triple teams at him anymore then. Hypocrisy at it's finest to those coaches.
Honestly, the double teaming has also been due to how much the Suns suck at 3-point shooting.

Guilty. I think Booker is deserving, but I don't think it is a travesty that he didn't get selected.
There's always next season. Or the season after that. Or maybe the season after that. I mean, he's only been putting up numbers offensively and with the efficiency of 4 or 5 players in the history of the NBA. It's not a travesty. That type of output doesn't warrant being an All Star.

Haha, in defense of the podcast, they presented it as something they could see the suns doing. They were not suggesting the suns make the trade and said they’d be pretty against it.
