Ricky is questionable. We need a big one from Ayton to pull this out.

I miss that Ayton that wanted to dominate guys smaller than him in the paint. I remember him being around for about 9 quarters this year.

And didn't they say during the memphis game that both Baynes and Cam are shut down for a week and will be re-evaluated next week (after the trade deadline...)

This has all the makings of a blowout, to be followed by 87 grumpy Ayton vs Luka posts. I hope they prove me wrong.

I predict misery. Just remember TV’s are expensive. Don’t blame the TV.

Our roster constantly has 4 or 5 guys unable to play due to injuries. Remind me again why he got rid of Aaron Nelson?

Yeah, we finally get a half decent team and it becomes an injury plagued year of course.

I dunno guys. This will be a tough game, but this team doesn't get blown out like they did the last 3 or 4 seasons. We will at least make the Mavs play hard. We might surprise some folks and get a win.

Was it any different the last few years?

It's tough to say when there really wasn't a lot of motivation for anyone to be on the court. But I hear you.

I am not sure we can blame the injuries on not having Aaron Nelson and his team. Maybe the duration of some of these injuries, but our biggest miss this year has been to poor decisions by Ayton, which over-stretched Baynes to play way more than ever, and Rubio playing all summer at full speed.

Exactly. Kaminsky is really the only guy who is an outlier. Rubio and Baynes played all summer. Cam Johnson is kinda injury prone at this point.

Well, it looks like Rubio is a go now according to James Jones. So, that helps a little.
