I missed the game. So what was the thing here? Benching Saric for Bridges?

Worth a rewatch.

Starting lineup clicked. Bridges was really good on Luka.

Have wanted this starting lineup for awhile, hope we keep it!
my ideal is booker, rubio, ayton, bridges, saric

but that is not possible (because of oubre), then playing smallball is the next best thing.

Why is it “not possible” for Oubre to be sixth man?

For now, with Baynes and Kaminski both out, I like having Saric available on the bench to back up Ayton. But when we’re full strength I see nothing wrong with Oubre off the bench.

About as perfect of a game as you’ll see this team play. Really happy Ayton put your these numbers against the Mavericks.

Everyone who played before garbage time had meaningful contributions.

As much as I hate on Tyler I think I’d hate paying Porzingas more. What a waste of skin. Dudes 7’3 with some crafty scoring ability but just settles for 30 footers a lot. Must be infuriating to watch.

What do those say?
Starters in Dallas

Ricky Rubio
Devin Booker
Kelly Oubre Jr.
Mikal Bridges
Deandre Ayton
That’s interesting. I think I like it.
How about now?

Suns playing well, but will have to make a 3 at some point if they're going to win.

Nice start from Ayton.
Oh, I think they heard you.

That 3rd foul on Ayton is probably gonna bite our ass later.
No ass biting tonight.

Still so much time left, you know Dallas is going to get hot and make 2-3 runs at us.
Pfft.

48-point 3rd quarter.
Wow! I didn't even realize. I just knew we hit Lawler's Law with plenty of time to spare. In the 3rd!

Would love to see Carlisle throw in the towel 2-3 minutes into the 4th so we can get the blowout and sit Book and Rubio.
You got it.

I remember when I was ready to sell the farm to pair him with Booker. So glad that didn't happen.

The first of three easy games this week.
I tried to tell you guys. 20 wins! We surpassed last year's win total before the all-star break.

He really hasn't been the same player since his knee injury. He's never been that good on defense, but he was a sieve in this game.

Really nice overall game
Great that we focused on ayton and booker.
Starting line up was impressive. Given its been our most productive lineup, do you think they stick with it, especially when baynes returns?
Really loved the defense from Bridges. Balanced stat line from him.
good to see Ty Jerome show signs of life. He looks so much better when he doesnt mind looking for his own shot. Lets hope he keeps building on this.
My only beef was there quite a few times in the first half where we would screw up icing the pnr and would wind up with rubio or a guard on portzingis in the paint.

If you rewatch Aytons highlights, it seemed very clear they wanted to get it to him under the circle. He seemed to do a good job of bodying up down there , Please keep doing that, even if he did miss that dunk

I might go rewatch the game right now :)
