We will never make up ground if we are playing 3 D leaguers.

Does Ayton know that Monty doesn’t mean shooting 20% on those mid range jumpers?

Nah, he’s shooting about 40% jumpers...still twice as many as he should.

I'm not interested in what Ayton has to say. Just show me. Show me that you're paying attention to coach.

Any interest in Justin Patton? Seems he gets passed around a lot
Might need some size depending on who we ship out

He talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk. It’s really annoying. I’d rather he shut up until his game catches up with his mouth.

He's a goofy 12-year-old in a man's body.

I don't think he lacks heart. He is just young and immature and hasn't totally figured the game out yet. There's a real maturation process that needs to happen with Ayton, and likely it will take several years. We have to decide whether we want to be patient and work through it with him, or whether he's a knucklehead and we should sell high and get another stud player for him instead.

I think we should sell so we can all watch him turn into a monster on someone else’s team.

Like Dragan or Chriss or Josh Jackson or Alex Len or Robin Lopez?

Maturing and wanting to work hard for something aren't the same thing. I would love to see a player that works as hard on his game when an audience isn't there; Ayton is all about sound bites. Maybe his work ethic gets better as he gets paid more and more to play this game, but I don't think that is how it usually happens. It would be different if his body was still catching up to his desires. But it seems his desires haven't caught up to his body.

A big concern of mine is if Book just gets tired of DA - his mouth, him thinking he's working hard when he's not really (allegedly), his lack of focus/effort in games. Similar to how Kobe and Shaq feuded or even Jimmy Butler (as much as I don't like him) asking out of Minny and hinting that guys like KAT aren't putting in the work or aren't taking things seriously enough to be winners. If that kind of thing comes to a head with Book...could get ugly. And I'm not even all about Book like he's Kobe, but no one questions his effort, maturity, work ethic.

I don't think Ayton is a bad guy at all and I want him and Book to get on the same page. Hopefully Book rubs off on DA.

Give me a break. He is nothing like any of those players.

Very interesting. I would assume it’s other teams asking rather than us trying to move him.

Suns Twitter has a collective "WTF?" reaction right now lol.

I'm not surprised the Suns are taking calls on Kelly, but they can't move him for just anyone or for some young guy and pick. Of course there could be more going on behind the scenes with Kelly that we don't know about. Just doesn't seem that way.

Or the Suns could be using him to try and land a PF?
