Trae Young is an exciting young player. But I generally don't like having a ball-dominant shoot-first guy like that on my team. I much prefer having a star like Booker who can get his points without gumming up our whole offense. And as for companing Ayton to Young, well, they're both still very ... young, so it's a bit early to decide. I prefer Ayton on this team, certainly.
Uh, Steph Curry?!? They both are >30% usage guys that shoot 20 times a game.
Dunno about the stats, but Curry and Trae Young are pretty different under the eye test IMO. They both make dazzling 3-point shots, but Curry isn't nearly as dominant on the ball. He is happy to let others run the offense, to play off-ball and run around screens to get open.

In seasons 4-11+ sure, but not so much early on.

If Trae undergoes a similar evolution of his game, I'll be the first to congratulate and celebrate him. I do enjoy him for what he is currently, too, but he isn't exactly my type of player.
