Unspecified knee injuries are generally not good. I hope it isn't serious.

Even if Saric starts, we will see more Cam.

And then we find out he was break dancing when it happened. Just kidding. He probably tripped over one of his mirrors.

I have a saying that just because someone can do the job, doesn't necessarily mean they're actually good at it. McD seems to fit that profile.
I'm shocked he lasted as long as he did to be honest - the Dragic fiasco was the first dead give away he was out of his depth - but he had credit for cleaning up the roster at the start of his tenure and he talked a very strong game, so much so he was able to keep himself employed even as the evidence against him continued to pile up.

Earl Watson was similar in some ways .. talked a good game when he was hired, like he was one of the 'new breed' of coaches able to relate to the younger generation etc - I really bought into it anyway - but he was obviously useless also.

Actually the first giveaway was not putting up a fight for Channing Frye, even though he was pricey, and then bringing in Isaiah Thomas. It was a good value spot for someone of Thomas's calibre but chemistry is priceless, and he tossed that aside like it was the easiest thing in the world to replace.

Amen. I'll forever believe signing IT3 destroyed a good team and Goran Dragic's careen as a Suns. F that move.

We are 2-0 with Oubre out this season. SF is the one position where we have enough depth that an injury doesn't hurt us too much.
But he is our starting PF at the moment, right? It would actually means more Saric.
In the 2 games Kelly missed (@nyk, @bos), Dario started both and played 2 of his better games of the season.

He averaged 32 minutes, 12pts, 8.5 rebounds, 4 assists. The team was +19 with him on the court in both games.

Yep. We will need them both to make up Kelly's production.

   Good shit. Makes me think of the Chappelle Show Prince skit for some reason. Kelly as Prince.

I think about this often.

It makes him look like a fool.

McDonough was the Bernie Madhoff of GM’s. His whole existence was a ruse. He finessed his way into the job just as he probably did with the Assistant GM job in Boston.

If Kawhi and PG are playing, it'd be hard to watch Dario try and guard either. I like Cam's quickness and length a bit more even tho he'll get exposed in the post. Think it'll be a pick your poison kinda thing. Then again, having Ayton next to Dario may make a difference defensively....

The Clippers are a tough match up for everyone. Lou and Montrezel off the bench scare me as much as the starters.

And count on Marcus Morris to have his usual “F You” game against the Suns.

Suns play the Warriors on Saturday. ;) Me thinks Curry doesn't want to play against Baynes his first game back.

Oubre had an MRI on his knee today, but we won't know the results until tomorrow. That's must be because the CVS Minute clinic has to send out the MRI results to a radiologist that can read it. I mean nurse practitioners aren't qualified to give that out,

Also, it's probably an HMO so they have to find an in-network specialist to decipher the results.

That is a good point. Yay for that!

There's no reason to take any risks with Oubre. We don't have much to fight for at this point in the season. He should rest as much as he needs. I really don't want to see him aggravate an injury by rushing back.
