Inspired basketball. Play hard every game. Wash out some of this leftover losing culture stank

 You got me laughing at my desk, Indy!

You know we love you, saucy! We're all brothers in the Suns' fam. I'm always going to tease my little brother. :)
You know if you stopped, then I’d really be worried , and if I stopped complaining, then you should be worried 8-)

PJ Tucker
Alex Len
Mike James
Marquese Chriss
Javon Carter
Kelly Oubre

Some of my least favorites in recent history, and at the same time some of this boards favorites that we continue to disagree about (Oubre being by far the best talent of the bunch, and my gripes with him are more attitude and IQ than talent)

Hill
KT
Diaw
JRich
Dragic
Bridges

Some of my favorite role players in recent history

And PJ Tucker needs to be the 3rd or 4th best player on your team. When he is that, and he knows it, he is great to have.

Are there Mike James fans anywhere?

He’s probably the exception of that group. Might have been my least favorite Sun ever.

Lol. To be fair, I was probably too young to truly hate Horry the Sun.

Ariza wasn’t as impactful. Mike James by nature of being a PG had so much (mostly negative) impact while on the court to me. Plus at least Ariza has been an impactful NBA player before. James carried himself like he was All NBA and deserved the recognition.

The fact that James was a starting PG for us was more of an indictment on the organization than it was of James. I didn't really have a problem with how he carried himself. More with how bad he was.

The Suns have 27 games left. Do they win at least 14 of them? I think they do. Anyone else?

I don't know. It's a tough schedule. Just reviewed it today.

Win 14 games?

I'd put the over/under at 9.5.

Just because (almost) everyone is healthy for this first game after the break doesn't mean two other guys won't be hurt/injured 10 days from now.

And it doesn’t mean they will stay healthy.

Has anyone talked hear about how the deal the Suns made to outsource all of the training staff after Nelson left fell through before the season even started? I know we talked about Nelson (and his staff) leaving, and Sarver signing the deal with AXIOS (or something like that), but I read recently that all fell through.

It was EXOS, but now it's CVS Minute Clinic, no?

Thanks. Yeah, it does seem that way. Even when we didn't have a top 5 team in the league, we always seemed to have a top 5 ownership group and a top 5 training staff. For like 40 years. We don't have a top 5 anything anymore. I would be surprised if our ownership group wasn't in the bottom 5, and same for training staff. Coaching staff is down there too, but I am hoping that comes around. People around the league seem to really like Monty, and our players seem to as well. We just need results.

If I recall correctly, didn't McD waive Derrick Jones Jr to keep Mike James on the roster?

Yes, then waived Mike James like a week later. Was pretty bad roster management.

I know it's cheap after the last couple of games, but I think we can win 12-15 after the allstar break. This team has been .500ish whenever they have been healthy. There will still be ups and downs, but I think they will still be about a .500 team as long as everyone suits up. A little below if they have normal amounts of injuries. a little above if they are especially healthy.
