Monty made a big mistake when he took Carter out. He set the tone out there tonight and they got passive again defensively when he came out.
Carter has been solid in limited minutes the past few games.

Hard to win games when we shoot that badly from 3.

raptors getting whatever they want on offense - way too many easy shots. This is looking like a blowout unfortunately
The good thing is this team always fights back. Down something like 26 in the first half and fought back to within 7 in the 2nd half. Booker had an open 3 attempt that would have cut it to 4.

I've seen blind and deaf kids play better defense than the Suns are in this game.
It took until the 2nd half for their defense to wake up.

I don't think we played poorly, we just didn't hit shots while they did. They hit everything they looked at in the 1st half.

Agreed that putting Rubio and Book in with 7minutes left killed our momentum. It's a funny thing to manage - the bench guys bring the energy, intensity and battle back but you know you have to put the starters in to close out the game but they usually can't match the energy or intensity. Rubio's a steady hand at point and Booker's your scorer but sometimes the offense becomes too deliberate and easy to defend with those guys.

Rubio looked so predictable and slow on offense. What I wouldn’t give to have VanVleet.

Agreed with all of that. Not many teams would have had a chance against the Raptors last night especially in the first half. All those threes they were making weren't wide open or uncontested. I was actually encouraged by our fight against that onslaught.

I just dont understand how one of those Raptors commentators has a job. Keeps doing these high pitched yells for any kind of highlight. Listening to some dumpy old Canadian squeal 'get that weak stuff outta hear' gets old fast and would be genuinely unpleasant to listen to, event for Raptors fans. Just an awful voice to listen to. Then they suck Drake's dick for about 10 minutes and dont even focus on the game.

We just need 2nd half Ayton for the bulls game please.
Our defense in the 2nd was awful. Glad we get making runs at them. We just werent decisive at times and against an aggressive team like the raptors, you need to be. they tended to over play alot and close out quickly but at times we were quite static and motionless. Got to give it to Ayton in those situations.

The backup PG spot still troubles me. We cycled through everyone again. Carter did some decent stuff on D but you need to play him with booker or Ayton since he wont set anyone up

I’m glad the Raptors broadcast wasn’t even an option on DirecTV based on what I’m reading. It must have gone to their heads after winning the championship.

That one guy has always been awful. He just took it up a notch after last season

I had both Bulls’ game broadcasts tonight. I was going to give the Chicago broadcast a shot but the first thing out of the Bull’s play by play guy’s mouth was about Suns’ star “Derek” Booker. He had a gravelly, ugly voice to boot. I didn’t even let him finish his sentence before I switched broadcasts.

How far they’ve fallen from the great Jim Durham!

Toronto beat the Pacers 127 to 81 tonight. They might be pretty good. Our loss doesn't look so bad in comparison. It showed a lot of resolve to get back to down just 7 in the 4th.
