I wonder if he elected to have it repaired or removed.

I guess it depends on the tear, but if he had the option, I’m sure he’d go for the repair. Removal’s generally get you back faster, but no need to rush him back. Just do what is necessary to keep the knee in best shape possible.

So do we now turn to Troy Daniels?

With Ayton seemingly out for a bit, now seems like a good time to audition g-league centers. Any suggestions?

We still have JR Smith and Dion Waiters to choose from right?

Just play Jerome and Lecque. We don’t need to tank and sit healthy players, but let’s see what our young backcourt guys have. Will be helpful to see what kinda changes we need to make in the offseason.

MRI and walking boot yesterday. MRI results today. Gambo didn’t seem to think he would be done for the year.

Jerome is in that in-between place. He's too good to learn much playing in the g-league. I'm not sure he's good enough to learn from his minutes in the NBA. I wouldn't sit Carter or Okobo to give him an unearned chance.

Lecque has all he can handle in the g-league. I'm actually kind of mad that he got into those 4 games. He should be a rookie next year or the year after.

Either way, we are already playing 2 very young guards who have a lot of growing to do. Sometimes we even have Okobo and Carter out there together.

Neither Okobo nor Carter belongs on this team to me next year.

They are two of our best 3P shooters. Carter is over 40% on the year. I am not saying that alone should get you a spot on the team, but considering we are a bottom tier 3P% team (23rd), we need to address that with any roster moves we make.

This year, only Carter, Cam, Okobo, and Devin are above league average of 35.5%. And Book just squeaked in at 35.7%.

I like both those guys and think they're worth developing.
